You know what, they were really professional about it. Last year, I didn't want to talk about it because it wasn't any of my business and it really didn't have anything to do with the show. We never, ever catered a story line to them, and we just can't. I actually told them, and I have said this publicly, I told them when they were dating and when they were engaged that I hope you guys are happy forever, but if you're not and something goes wrong, this is a business. We're making a TV show and I can't cater the story lines to your romances. We just can't. We have this huge ensemble cast and once they had their troubles they were very professional about it. I know it was rumored that they didn't want to work together and whatever, but they never approached me, their people never approached me, everybody just did their job. link And chophia split at the end of season 2. 	chellyp86 picked no i dont think so: Mark said that in a recent interview about Lucas choosing Peyton, and he siad Chad and Sophia were married in real life I don't know if you know that, and they have amazing chemistry and I took that in consideration when choosing who Lucas was going to pick in 6.01, but he thought that Leyton were really soulmates since the pilot. So Mark even took in consideration that Lucas/Brooke getting back together because of their chemistry, so Chad/Sophia break-up has no effect on the show. posted lebih dari setahun yang lalu.

He would never say that...but it absolute did effect the show and you could kinda see that with the abrupt Brucas break up and absolutely no BL interaction after that. its funny some people say that the only reason BL ever got together was because of Chophia....but they didnt break up because of chophia...lol posted lebih dari setahun yang lalu.

Of course they are professionals and if Mark had thought BL were perfect and meant for each other they would've been endgame. But on the other hand I don't assume either that he would blab about this in some interview/feature on a DVD. I'm sure he considered every single reason for the couple that was gonna be endgame and, if you want it or not, the Chopia breakup is just one of them!
