tutor girl started to hang out with the popluar kids, then get married with hottest jock after dating only for a few months they got married and they still in HIGHSCHOOL, then became a rock star...she came back and the tutor girl is a popluar cheerleader, then got pregnate in highschool...IDK that don't happens to often!

sorry but a 22 yr old setting up her OWN record label, building a recording studio IN HER OFFICE and suddenly having tons of money... it just doesn't work like that.

well they`re all super unrealistic but they need to exaggerate for good t.v.! but C`MON brookes shes all rich on her own somehow & always was (what do her parents do exactly & why would they go to the ATM deposit to give her her allowance but forget to call her & say hello every week??) & victorias secret signed w. her for those tank tops that literally she had high school kids working on one time, that is SO unrealistic then now her line is "high fashion" when her teen tank tops are the ones that got her signed & its def just weird!
also peyton`s, she was attacked by a stalker & her dad still didn`t come back from work he still let his daughter home alone wthhh

The recond thing mainly. But really ALL OF THEM! This might happen to ONE person. But five people, all living in the same tiny town..no way. But i still love OTH, don't get me wrong

All of them are pretty unrealistic but I believe that someone who is married and has children at the age of 22 is more believable then being a famous writer, fashion designer, basketball player, or a girl with her own record label.
So I'm saying Haley has the most realistic life and everyone elses is just a little too extravegent for someone who is twenty two years old.

but most people dont want to watch a show about 5 boring people, with average lives. so they make it interesting.

Most people aren't fashion designers, although the bitchy mom is common with almost everyone lol

I don't think Lucas would be instantly famous for one novel. And besides, the writing process is very difficult to get on especially if you're just from a small town. In Lucas' situation, it would be at least two years or so before he gets that book noticed. Sure, Lindsey made him lucky because his book "spoke to her" but I don't think her senior publishers would immediately launch it. And in the scenes (Peyton collecting his book) his book has been published by different companies?? wtf? That's impossible. I'm sure he can write but he can't be that great by his first novel.

I find Brooke's fashion career a tad believable. Her parents are said to rich and they may still have connections even when they were bankrupt and maybe Victoria used that. And fashion and music worlds are a business...if you got the looks (like brooke) and talent to combine with that beauty...a rich, manipulative mom too, then people do notice you.

Haley and Nathan's life together now is believable for me. And Peyton? She's a freaking Murphy's Law in the flesh and that's what the plot intended her to be.

All of them but Brooke there is no way she would have her own company and someone would let her care for a baby just bam. I just don't buy it.

It's Peyton's life that's unrealistic. 1treehillfan is right.

yeah they're all unrealistic ... but brooke being so famous and rich and succesful so early in life seemed like the obvious choice

Peyton finds out BOTH her parents isn't her real parents and her birth mom dies in canser just after their met, she brings the best bands ever to tric, she's just a ordinare high school girl who dates pete from fall out boy?!??!?!?!! she open she own record label when she's 22, everybody's leaving her all the time and i can go on whit this in years if someone wants to hear. But serious, i like peyton, and of course this can happen in real life, but how can all this stuffs happend to her?!

She marries Nathan, goes on tour, gets knocked up and is valedictorian. NOt saying that I don't love it, but very unrealistic.

Well it's a fictional TV show, it doesn't have to be realistic but some are really exaggerated.
1. How many 22 year old people do you know who owns a multi-million company? She lived ALONE for the most part of her life with parents who never called and never visited. She passed from rich girl, to poor girl to rich girl again in a year.
2. Nathan was a very good basketball player in highschool. But make it to the NBA, make millions of money and have your personal shoe sponsor all in few years in far-fetched. He finished for a wheelchair, nobody every player after that kind of injury but NATHAN SCOTT managed to overcome it and played like nothing happened. For me it's unrealistic.
3. How many people do you know who was a nerd, married the most popular guy of the school after few months they were together, left school on a tournee and had a baby? All under the age of 18. The most realistic and common thing was that she studied and became a teacher. Then she was mom, wife, teacher, singer & producer all in one go.
4. Peyton & Lucas storylines are not so unrealistic IMO. There are many who are abandoned by their father at birth and their mother dies when they are young. Lucas heart problem is hereditary and things like this happen. Peyton stalker is not common but there are many psychos and obsessed people who can become dangerous. Peyton almost raped unfortunately happens [glad Brooke stopped him]. Getting to know your birth mother is the most natural thing in the world. Lucas writing a novel and Peyton opening up a label is not very realistic but IMO Lucas was best seller ones because the story was good, he didn't become a great writer just for one story, infact the second book didn't go so well. Peyton managed to open the label thanks to her millionare friend and with the help of a major label so they were lucky.

All to some degree are unrealistic because let's face it it's a movie and no one wants to see 'normality' but some where extremely unrealistic
