Will Young says he'd like to be the sixth member of One Direction.
Let's face it we're all cinta a bit of One Direction.
But we reckon Will Young loves the 1D boys lebih than most, after he told omg! he'd do anything to be in the band.
The Pop Idol star, who's back this bulan with his brand new album 'Echoes', told us he'd cinta to be the six member of the X Factor boyband.
He said: "I cinta One Direction. cinta them. I would very happily be a sixth member of One Direction."
The 32-year-old told us there's one part of the lads (Louis, Niall, Zayn, Harry and Liam) he admires lebih than the rest.
He added: "I want their youthful skin. I think they moved on from me very quickly when I was on Alan Carr [Chatty Man] with them because I started gazing at their poreless faces. I was like 'Where are their pores? Come here children, scalpel in hand.'"
And Will told us he's a big fan of boybands in general. He said: "Who doesn't like a boyband? One of the best things about pop in the last few years is that boybands have come back.
"And girlbands. There need to be lebih girlbands. I cinta The Saturdays but there's room for more."
"If I was younger and lebih flexible I'd be starting my own boyband. In fact I'm going to start a trend of man bands." (We'd cinta to see that).
Will, who appeared on Pop Idol a whole decade, yang lalu (yes really) says talent shows that followed like X Factor are completely different.
He said: "X Factor is a juggernaut. When Pop Idol was around there were less mediums. We didn't have websites atau ITV2. There are so many lebih different ways of communicating now.
"What was so nice about Pop Idol was that we didn't know. We were so innocent. No one was playing games. We didn't even know if it was going to be a success."
And he reckons he's matured lots since then. "I'm still the same person but I've grown up. The 30s are a great age. I don't worry about what people think so much but I've still got a bit of a figure."
And Mr Young flaunted that figure in his brand new video 'Jealousy', where he donned a rather fetching silver cape.

He told us he's grown quite attached to the number. "The video was quite dark but offset with me wearing white spandex.
"I cinta the cape. I've got it and it's coming out on a night out. Perhaps even tonight. I'm hoping for some spandeks, spandex in my detik single. I'll try and sneak the cape in again even if it's on an extra."
