Brandt's POV
We lay on the ground beaten to a pulp. I never saw this guy on the anime but, he is really strong and he controls those chakra tentacles of his perfectly. He didn't look like he was actually paying attention to us.
"I"m gonna feel this tomorrow." Grady moans.
"It wont matter if we fail this, we will have to go back to the academy." I say even though I never went through it before.
Bakoto looked up at the sky then back at us "You have about thirty-five menit to get the piece before anda fail."
That got me angry since he just assume we would fail. Even if we failed I wasn't going to do it quietly "Okay Grady time for some team work." Then I whispered the plan into his ear.
He looked surprised "How did anda learn those techniques?"
I grinned with pride "One I got from kakashi then looked it up on the internet to learn lebih about for no reason and the other one well, I sneaked a peak at the scroll while Iruka was giving his headband to Naruto."
He nodded then we stood up again and he merged with Komots again and my cat ears and tail emerged. We membagi, split up into the woods again.
Grady's POV
I jumped out of the bushes to the side of Sensei with a api already brewing in my mouth and Brandt, in cat form, jumped on my back and I launched a column of flames at him then charged.
I knew it was useless cause he deflected both attacks with his tentacles but when suddenly stopped me Brandt jumped and the sudden stop gave him lebih of a jump. But sadly, he was stopped just before he touched the pole.
When we both stood, back to normal now, we were exhausted to the point where there was no way to continue.
"I guess I should have expected this when I volunteered for a group with only two kids and a dog. If anda had had a third ninja anda might have been able to..." He was cut off as a hand shot out from the ground inside his chakra lingkaran of tentacles pulling him under then the chakra dilapidated as Bakoto lost concentration.
"What?Who?How?" was all Sensei berkata as Brandt's shadow clan crawls out of the ground.
Me and Brandt grinned and we raced for the piece but as soon as I was about to touch it. An explosion happened where the Sensei was in the and my world went black.
Bakoto's POV
"Ah, Bakoto, how did it go?" berkata the Hokage as I went in to give my laporan of the test "I suspect they didn't pass seeing as how they knocked out in the infirmary."
I looked at him with a plain look "The exercise was to use teamwork to try and get the emas piece. I sort of took Kakashi's idea with the bells. At first I thought it was just going to be like all the other misfit groups I was put with but when time was almost up, they got the message."
"So they did pass? Good, good." he berkata nodding.
"Lord Hokage?"
"Yes."
"I need any information anda can give me on Brandt. He executed both the shadow clone jutsu and the earth style headhunter jutsu." I berkata slightly demanding.
"Iruka and some others already asked and my rpely is the same." he said.
"What would that be?" I asked.
"We don't have any information on this Brandt. He just showed up out of nowhere. Quite literally." he replied and with that I dismissed myself.
*sorry it was a short chapter, naruto episode 5 didn't have very much to it and I update based on the episodes*
