Haley didn't love Chris, we know it and it was a confused kiss, plus she was in high school.
The kiss between the slutty bitch of whos name will not be said and nathan was when they were mature adults... even though Nathan (as mcewen said) was just like a deer caught in the headlights, he could have easily pushed her away faster.
They were both mistakes on both their behalves and they were wrong, but it did not mean that they didn't love eachother. Because they are always and forever.
No bony psycho bitch or scrawny guitar playing loser is going to split them apart.
