Is it true that bas, bass gitar is the easiest instrument to play?

It's probably not. I play bas, bass too! It kinda depends on the song really...but I think it's not that easy. People say it's easy because they haven't played it before :P

I think it depends, I probably couldn't (I'm a woodwind-er) personally I think the kazoo is probably easier, I heard some flautists who wanted to get into a jazz band picked up the saxaphone and the week after they were accepted (the fingering's the same for sax as it is for flute. But still)

no, i dont think its easy at all. its just like any other instrument and takes just as much talent to play it.

Don't listen to the naysayers. I wouldn't consider bas, bass to be that simple. Sure, there are simple songs to play, but it can get complicated too. So many songs are built on the bas, bass line and it's really lebih about how anda play it and how much passion anda put into it. Bassists are very often under-appreciated. I guess it's just something you'll have to brush off. Just do your thing and rock that bass.

i play the bass, it's easy if anda know how to play it, but if you're teaching yourself and don't have the slightest clue... good luck. no, honestly piano, viola, gitar and klarinet are easier for me. gitar was easy to learn, and piano anda just gotta get the hang of it.

Playing anything is hard, ask a real band person atau a friend that plays something and they berkata it's not that easy. My friend, Abi-Fox, plays the vilion and has been playing for 6 years, and shes ONLY upto playing half a song, so its not that easy, whatever anda play, its gonna take a while

This might be bit late. A bassist is a musician, that's a silly thing to say. It is the easiest to play I think. Well, out of drums, piano, gitar and bas, bass (what I play) I found that as soon as I picked up the bas, bass I could play it. I played the gitar for many years before this though. As for timing, it's critical for every instrument all the same. Timing is crucial.
