Katherine Jackson on the hari Michael was born:
My experience with Marlon and Brandon didn’t dissuade me from getting pregnant again. The following tahun August 29, I gave birth to another son.
I remember that hari well because my water broke while my neighbor Mildred White and I were driving over to see the new grammar school under construction, Garnett Elementary.
“Oh, my God, Mildred, I can’t sit in your car like this!” I exclaimed.
“Girl, don’t worry about it,” Mildred said, turning the car around.
At my request Mildred drove me home. I called my mother and she and my stepfather drove me to Mercy Hospital.
Shortly after I got there, I began having contractions. Later that night, my son was born.
“I want to name him,” my mother said. I hated her first suggestion: Ronald.
“How about Roy, then?”
“Oh, my gosh, Mama, no.”
She thought for a little while. “I’ve got it—MICHAEL.”
“That’s it,” I said.
oleh then I was used to seeing my bayi born with funny looking heads, so I wasn’t alarmed oleh Michael’s. The two other things I remember about him as I held him for the first time were his big brown eyes and his long hands, which reminded me of my father-in-law’s.
“I bet I was an accident!” Michael has teased. He wasn’t.

A few months later...
Michael's P.O.V
I'm working on my first adulthood solo album with Quincy Jones ( whom I call Funky ). It's supposed to be a sign that I'm not a child anymore and that I'm completely capable of working without my brothers under my wing, and my father taking charge of all my actions.
At least with Quincy, I know that he thinks that I can be a successful solo artist. And then there is other reasons too. I want to be known lebih than another black artist. I want to overcome those color barriers. And being stuck in the same R&B chart isn't fun either. I want to break that streak too. I also want to be became better known outside the United States, I want to thrive outside America and explore and get a bigger fan base. I know it's a lot of expectations but I know it'll all happen someday....
Sorry it's so short, just having a mild writers block. I'll be sure to make it longer selanjutnya time though. <3 Hugs and Kisses
