1. that depends on your age and the national minimum wage for anda area.
here in england if anda are paid the national minimum wage anda are entitled to recieve -

Apprentince under 19 years of age - £2.60 per hour
Apprentice over 19 years of age (who have not completed the first tahun of apprenticeship - £2.60 per hour
Apprentices over 19 years of age who have completed the first tahun of their apprenticeship - National Minimum Wage
Aged under 18 (but above compulsory school age): £3.68 per jam
Aged 18 to 20 inclusive: £4.98 per jam
Aged 21 years atau more: £6.08 per jam

2. Waitresse's may atau may not get tips. Some companies allocate a certain number of tables to one waitress and whatever tip is left on those tables are for the waitress to keep. Others collect the all tips and distribute them evenly between each waitresses on pay hari and add them to the pay. Some may keep the tips for the company itself.

However i am unsure of whether any company has a right to deduct wages due to the amount of tips anda may recieve. anda will have to check with the company anda work for and your legal rights, which a lawyer atau your local council may be of help.

Thanks (Although I have to admit, some of those points anda made sound a little unfair to waitresses.) Oh, and I'm not a waittresses, but I do plan on applying for a restaurant to become one. Sorry for forgetting to mention that, and thanks again. :)

It's okay, and it is unfair, especially if anda only work part-time with no other job to supply an extra income on the side, but if anda need to travel lebih then an jam away, anda could ask whether the company atau your local job centre atau council can help with your travelling fees if only for a few months until anda find a quicker, lebih money efficeint way of travelling to and from the work place.
