Max and Fang stood on puncak, atas of the highest building they could find, the cool night air whipping through their hair and feathers. It felt good. Peaceful. Fang's dark eyes met to Max's. It felt right. He pulled her close to him, feeling as she tensed in his arms, then slowly melted into him. This was the perfect night for them.
But, of course, all good things must come to an end. They leaned in to ciuman when a loud screeching noise erupted in the dark, causing the two to straighten, ready for fight atau flight in neccessary. Ahead of them, an army of flying bodies flew straight for them. The two took a stance and flew out to attack in mid-air. It was too dark to see what their new enemies looked like, but the partial part of the moon showed them where to throw their punches. One took a hold of Max and put a grip so hard on her, she couldn't shake free. An object shot up selanjutnya to them, then another, exploding just a few feet away from them. Fireworks. It was New Years. Max quickly turned to see what had a hold on her and gasped. It just couldn't be possible! Could it? She stared, taking in every detail, every bit of his image. It was Fang.
It couldn't be! Fang was fighting off other beings in the sky. She could see him. Her Fang. Not this imposter! But who was he? What was he? Max just couldn't turn away. Suddenly, the fake Fang reared back, releasing Max, and grabbed his bleeding ears. The real Fang had just cupped his hands on the fake one. Max stared still, watching this scene. Blood. It was real blood.
The fake Fang regained himself, and the battle of the Fangs was on. Punches to the head. Clean kicks to the ribs. This horror just kept going on!
Max turned for a second, taking a surprise meninju, pukulan to the lip oleh another Max. Quickly, the real Max dominated the fake one, watching as she dropped to the ground below them. The rest of the army retreated, leaving the real Max, the real Fang, and the fake Fang. Max looked at the two and realized something. Which one is the real Fang?
The two Fangs were still hot in battle on the rooftop Fang and Max were on earlier. One Fang leapt on puncak, atas of the other and brutally began to beat the other. In a matter of minutes, the beaten Fang was out cold. Fang rose to his feet and walked over to Max, who had landed on the roof immeadiately. She stared at his eyes and somehow knew, This is Fang. This is my Fang.
"Come on," he put an arm around her. "Let's get out of here before...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" Max shrieked as the other Fang stood there, a smoking gun in his hand. He smiled and winked at her, taking flight.
"Fang!" she yelled. He collapsed on the roof, blotches of red soaking his shirt. Max knelt selanjutnya to him, holding his head carefully in her hands. "Just hold on! You're going to be okay."
"Max?" he whispered, his eyes heavy.
"Don't say anything. I'm going to get anda some help."
"Max," his words were getting harder and harder to hear, "I've always loved you." Max's jantung jerked, tears swelling in her eyes. Could she pull herself to say it?
"I...I cinta you, too."
"Lean down," he gazed into her eyes. They weren't as dark as they used to be, she thought. She leaned down, and he kissed her, one of his hands touching her face ever so gently. Then it fell. Max sat up and burst into tears. Fang - her Fang - had died. His eyes were closed, his body unmoving. She held him closer, tighter, hoping - no, wishing! - that he would come back.
"Fang," she sobbed into his shirt. "Fang, don't leave me."
