Marky Mark

Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg is an American actor, rapper and producer of film and television. Wahlberg has appeared in numerous films, including Boogie Nights (1997) and The Departed (2006) for which he was nominated an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Before he started acting, Mark Wahlberg was best known as Marky Mark, the pants-dropping rapper who attained fame and notoriety with his group the Funky Bunch. In the tradition of Will Smith and Ice Cube, Wahlberg has made a successful transition from musik to film, garnering particular early praise for his role in Boogie Nights.
