A Strange Way to Fall in cinta Chapter Seventeen
I was going to stay at the pantai a little longer. I wanted to sit out here and think in peacefulness of the ocean. It was nice to be out here oleh myself. But, I had been oleh myself for years. Well, except for Mark being oleh my side during the years in the army. I had no idea what to do now that I was back in the states. The army was my career and pretty much the only thing I knew.
"Hey Kyle," Lola said, "whatcha still doing here?"
"Just thinking," I said.
"They must be pretty important! anda have been sitting here for a while," she stated, "trying to think if anda should put a ring on your girlfriend's finger?"
Lola started laughing after what she just said.
"No, not that! I have been way too busy to date," I berkata laughing a little.
"Ahh, I would have thought anda would had settled down oleh now," she said, "with a couple of kids and in some nice neighborhood!"
"Why would anda think," I asked.
"You just seemed like the type of guy that would have a family oleh now," she shrugged.
"Me," I asked laughing, "I have been over seas numerous amount of times! I could not leave a family behind to go fight that many times."
"Oh okay," she berkata as she sat down beside me.
"Just oh okay," I asked, "that is all?"
"Yep," Lola berkata as she stared out at sea, "have anda ever gotten hurt over there?"
"Once," I said, "but nothing serious!"
"Oh neat," she berkata as I looked her oddly, "well, not neat! But, that is good anda did not get hurt too bad!"
"Yeah, I like my job; I think I will keep it," I berkata smiling, "but what are anda still doing here?"
"I was taking a walk on the beach," she said, "I cinta this place. It's like I belong here!"
"That's good that anda have something anda love," I said.
"Why are anda still in your uniform," she asked curiously.
"I have not gotten a chance to change out of it," I said, "I wear this uniform everyday that I forget to change out of it when I come back home!"
"That is funny," she berkata laughing.
"So, what have anda been up to all these years I have been gone," I asked.
"Eh, anda know most of it," she shrugged, "basically fighting for my life and putting those people in jail."
"I am sorry," I said, "I wish I could have been here and that would have never happened!"
"It would have happened if anda were here," she stated, "it's whatever now! Do anda ever have nightmares about your job atau whatever anda call it?"
"Sometimes, but not very much," I stated, "do anda every have nightmares about everything that has happened to you?"
"Honestly," she berkata as she looked over me, "every night. I try and stay up as long as possible and wake up as early as possible. I relive everything that has every happened to me every night."
"Does it still scare you," I asked curiously.
"Every time, anda think after living it once and dreaming about for tahun atau so, anda would know what is coming. But, I don't," she said.
"Have anda told Horatio," I asked.
"No, I have not," Lola said, "and I am not going too! Him and everyone else at his department have tried to get me to talk to anyone about everything. But, I do not need someone telling me how to get rid of nightmares. Besides, it probably would not help at all!"
"Oh," I said.
"Don't strain your voice too much," she berkata laughing.
"Sorry, I just keep thinking what if," I stated.
"It is the past," she berkata as she paused, "it is a, whatever?"
"Okay," I berkata with a bit of laughter.
"Are anda going back over seas atau are anda here for good," Lola asked.
"I am not sure," I stated, "I think I need to do a couple of lebih tours. The army is all I know! I know Mark will try and get a job on base in the states. On the count that he is going to get married soon!"
"Is he your age," she asked curiously.
"Yep," I said.
"Wow, to get married at your age atau a tahun atau two older than me," she berkata stunned.
"I guess, I see what Mark has and all I can think about it having that too," I said, "I want it so bad!"
"Really," she berkata as it came out in a laugh.
"What," I asked confused, "is it bad to say I want a girlfriend? I want someone to cinta me?"
"No, not at all," Lola said, "I have been trying way to hard to get people to cinta me! And look what has all happened to me!"
"Everything that has happened to anda is not because anda are looking for someone to love," I stated, "You Lola, have the worst luck I have ever seen!"
"You're telling me," she berkata laughing.
"Lola," someone called out.
"Seriously," she groaned, "I guess Horatio has sent out a crew to come find me!"
"Why would he do that," I asked confused.
"Because, he thinks I am suicidal! And I promise I am not," Lola said, "I have good job coming my way! I have been adopted oleh someone who should have adopted me a long time ago! But better late then never!"
"Right," I berkata as someone interrupted me.
"Lola," a man asked.
"Hello Robert," she berkata with dread in her voice, "I am okay! No need to panic, anda know!"
"Well, Horatio is worried about you," Robert said, "and anda should not be talking to strangers!"
"Robert, this is Kyle! He is not a stranger," I said, "now tampil some respect to him!"
"Sorry, I am Robert," the man said, "thank anda for all anda do!"

"Come on Lola, Horatio wants anda home!"
