i think the leyton video is honestly much better, in more ways than one. the reasons are not only deeper, but also more accurate than the brucas reasons.

she's pretty girl, and he's boyfriend? she's cheery, and he's broody? he pimped her locker? she read steinbach? he remembered her purple monkey? they missed each other? she was on his mind? shes mad crushed out? she missed his smile? she'd like to stay and talk to him? he kept her feather? tattoos? he sees her as vunerable? etc... I mean, these things are cute, and prove that they are a good teenage couple. but they're far from really deep, or super meaningful reasons. and IMO, don't really prove why they belong together, or should end up together as adults.

and a few of the reasons given werent even true, or are subjective to say the least. saying that she already met "the right person", all because the adoption lady asked her about lucas? when it was conveniently left out that right after, brooke went on to talk about how they "dated in highschool, so what?". saying that lucas wished he would have appreciated her, when in actuality he just said he wished he would have appreciated "the things he took for granted"... he said nothing about brooke. he's ALWAYS there for her? she ALWAYS let's him? again, him being there for her for Angie doesn't mean always, as the reason claims. just little inaccuracies like that show quite a few times in the BL video. atleast all of the LP reasons are straight fact.

not to mention that quite a few of the brucas reasons were just like one scene split up into 10 different reasons (the scene where brooke is reading what lucas wrote about her in his book for example). where as the leyton video and reasons have more of a variety of scenes.

and then there's the overall quality, and editing. which i don't think is much of a contest. the Romeo and Juliet theme came off as kind of cheesy too, to me anyway.

so, yeah. my LP biasness aside, those are the reasons why I chose the Leyton video! and dont get me wrong, the brucas one IS good. but i just think this one is better, for quite a few reasons. it's just epic <33

You know what? I can't, and won't even lie. The BL one is really good. It may be older, and the editing and effects may not be as up to date as the newly-made LP video... but nevertheless, it still brings out emotions in me as I watch it. I can still feel the passion of BL, and feel the type of couple that they once were. So, I think it definitely does get the desired message across.

But with that said, I do have to agree with what you said TBSAC, about a lot of the reasons used for the BL video. All in all, I guess I just feel like the Brucas video was trying to stretch out scenes that could have been only one reason, just for the sake of creating more reasons. While I feel like the LP video only scratched the surface of all of LP's reasons! I literally probably could have added 50-100 more. But I feel like the Brucas video was kind of grasping to even come up with 82 reasons. If that makes sense. But ofcourse, Brucas fans may disagree!

After seeing this LP video, I can now say that it's literally the best LP fanvid I have ever seen. But I have seen better BL videos than this one!

@TBSAC; I could say the exact same thing about the LP video. (scene-wise. I'm not denying that the editing is good)

It's all very subjective, and depends a lot on shipping and even just character preferences. :)

i just already picked the bl video simply because of the '82' already the title shows us an important aspect of the bl relationship! :)

^^ i don't think the same can be said about the leyton reasons, at all. they're very diverse, deep, factual, epic reasons. with the exception of maybe 2-3 ofcourse. i don't see how that could be seen as subjective. and bringing shipping preferences, or character (?) preferences into it defeats the whole purpose of voting unbiasedly..which you are supposed to try and do. same kind of goes for voting based off of the video titles? but i guess we can just agree to disagree :D

I did vote unbiasedly. I spent seven minutes of my life watching a full Leyton video, re-watching the old BL video and comparing the LP video TO said BL video. Thanks.

^ well good for you lol. im sure you would have watched it anyway (if you hadn't watched it already) just for the sake of being able to complain about it. so i doubt you "spent 7 minutes of your life" watching the leyton video just for the sake of this pick. buttttt anyway, the leyton reasons ARE diverse, and factual. i mean that's really not open for opinion..they just are. but like I already said, we can agree to disagree :)

If we can "agree to disagree" can you explain your bitchyness? :) I was stating personal facts that didn't really require a reply at all (except the factual/diverse thing which is YOUR personal fact) - and no, I wouldn't have watched it ever, at all, upon pain of death. I wouldn't have even known it existed. :)

It's obviously hard not to be biased.

As far as the looks. I like the effects and music in the LP vid more than the BL, but the BL one is older so that's to be expected. = ]

I completely agree with Kristin though. The LP vid just has more deep & meaningful reasons to me. And I also agree with Kelly about how sone of the BL reasons seemed to be streteched.

But both are very creative vids & get the message across to the fanbases<33
