The other one just makes me laugh.

Because the other one (as absolutely absurd as I think it is) is always open for interpretation... I guess. I'll never understand it, or agree with it. But at the end of the day I guess we'll never 100% know if it's true or not.

But it is just mere FACT that Brooke is NOT the "real" QOH. Compare her to the literal QOH playing card all you want. Because she carried roses, wore red lol, or... whatever. But that doesn't make her the queen of LUCAS' heart, or HIS "queen"... as the show was referring.

Do people say that Brooke IS the Queen of Hearts or that Brooke SHOULD HAVE BEEN the Queen of Hearts? Because that always confused me.
It makes sense to me if people say Brooke is a much better representation of the Queen of Hearts than Peyton, and that it's something that would better be used as symbolism for Brooke over Peyton (cause I agree with that. I think there are other things that would have been better to use for symbolizing Peyton). But if Lucas points to the QOH, says thats the one, and then asks Peyton to marry him over the phone... I'm not sure how Brooke could actually be his QOH.

^ EXACTLY! I completely agree that BL'ers saying that Brooke should be the QOH makes sense. But yes, more often than not, they say that she IS the real QOH lol. Big difference. And it's mind blowing to me.

both are hilaaaaarious lol. but as kelly said, this one just comes down to straight facts. the other one is annoying as hell, but I don't take it too seriously. i just think of it as a cop out excuse, to make some BL fans feel better, and so that they have something to blame the endgame outcomes on..

I don't agree with the other one either, but I guess that's a matter of opinion.
This one though... as others said, it's a fact that Peyton is the QOH.

I just don't see how this argument holds. If Brooke was the QOH he would've chosen her. Right? He chose PEYTON. That speaks for itself.
