Konohagakure (木ノ葉隠れの里, Konohagakure; Literally meaning "Village Hidden Among pohon Leaves"; also known as "Village Hidden in the Leaves" atau "Hidden Leaf Village"), atau Konoha for short, is one of the five great ninja villages, and berkata to be the mightiest of the five. As such, it is one of five villages with a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage. On a mountain overlooking the villages from the north exists the Hokage Monument. The village resides in the Land of Fire.
History
Before Konoha was founded, shinobi were merely individual clans working as mercenaries for various daimyo. Of the countless ninja clans, the Uchiha clan and the Senju clan of the forest were the strongest at the time. After much bloodshed, the Senju clan offered a truce with the Uchiha. Despite their leader, Madara Uchiha's, protests, the clan overruled him,so he reluctantly agreed. And the Hidden Leaf Village was born. Soon, other countries began to adopt this system, leading to the birth of other villages, and peace was attained. However, when the leader of the Senju clan, Hashirama Senju, was chosen to be the leader of Konoha, Madara decided to challenge him for the sake of his clan. But not even one Uchiha want to help him and they despised him for trying to reignite war. After he was betrayed oleh everyone, Madara left the Konoha so that he could challenge Hashirama oleh himself.
During their legendary battle at the Valley of the End, Madara was defeated, presumed killed, and was thereafter lost to history. Hashirama's younger brother, who became the detik Hokage, formed the Konoha Police Force, and gave it to the Uchiha clan as a way to prevent them from entering the governing of the village, and to keep them in check,in order to prevent another revolt like Madara's. Some Uchiha clan members, who figured out this gesture's ulterior motive, began to rebel like Madara had. However, it was too late; the Senju clan became superior in the entire village, and the Uchiha clan was discriminated and secluded, just as Madara had predicted.
Hokage
Hokage (火影; Literally meaning "Fire Shadow") are the leaders of Konoha. They are generally the strongest in the village, although ideology and renown plays a large part in their being chosen for the position.
When the position for Hokage becomes open, whether because of the sebelumnya Hokage's death atau incapacitation, the Konoha Council promptly begins to cari for a replacement,in some cases within hours atau days after a Hokage has been deemed dead atau unfit.
After being appointed, they are diberikan the Hokage mansion in which to live and have their faces carved out in the stone dinding behind it.

Minato Namikaze (波風 ミナト, Namikaze Minato), also known as Konoha's Yellow Flash (木ノ葉の黄色い閃光, Konoha no Kiiroi Senkō), was the Fourth Hokage (四代目火影, Yondaime Hokage) and the father of naruto Uzumaki. He was the student of Jiraiya and the teacher of kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin.
Fifth Hokage
Tsunade (綱手) is the Fifth Hokage (五代目火影, Godaime Hokage) of Konohagakure, taking over after Hiruzen Sarutobi died. Along with Orochimaru and Jiraiya, she is one of the Legendary Sannin of Konoha, and the only one left alive after Jiraiya's death and Orochimaru's permanent sealing. She excels in medical ninjutsu.

Danzo (ダンゾウ, Danzō) is a Konoha elder, one of the oldest villagers in Konoha. He is also in charge of the ANBU faction named the Foundation. He is later appointed as the akting Sixth Hokage (六代目火影, Rokudaime Hokage) after Pain's invasion.
