“It just won’t work after that,” actor opines

Johnny Depp‘s got a warning for America: If you elect Donald Trump, the country will cease to exist.

While promoting upcoming film “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” the actor behind the Mad Hatter issued a serious political prediction.

“If Trump is elected President of the United States, in a historical way it’s exciting,” Depp told a London Channel 5 News reporter. “Because we will see the actual last President of the United States. It just won’t work after that.”

The reporter then asked, “So you won’t be thrilled if that happens?”

To which Depp replied, “I don’t believe in that stuff,” whatever that means.

A few months ago, Depp starred in Funny Or Die’s “Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal,” and has since said in interviews that he approached the character as a “brat.”

And it turns out Donald Trump was less popular than all three (and more) of those things that are commonly despised by the general population.

Trump lost to the internationally reviled band by 5 points.

The jerk who sold you your last lemon gained 6 more points than the Republican nominee in the poll.

People preferred being stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic over Trump by 7 points.

Trump went head to head with this frequently loathed population and lost by 7 points.

We all hate the DMV, but people polled hate Trump more -- by 10 points.

The painful dental procedure was preferred over Trump by 11 points.

People would rather be forced to give up their time and pay check than live in a nation ruled by Trump. The presumptive GOP nominee fell behind this unpleasantry by a whopping 22 points.

The poll by Public Policy Polling shows that Trump is losing to lice by 26 points. Ouch. Or itch.
