The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created oleh and named after queen bassist John Deacon and used oleh guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip oleh Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered oleh a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special gitar and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
