The things that make me shake in fear, makes me hug my teddy bear tight and forbid me to sleep at night, now that's what i like! :D

I like it because it's in the tradition of chilling old school ghost movies like Audrey Rose, The Entity and Poltergeist.

Scares

Every time! Although I love the more extreme end of things, I think the mainstream of horror has lost the ability to chill the spine. They've replaced it with overly familiar remakes and sadism.

I don't object to savagery, I just like a little variety as well.

o_e Yeah, and the gory movies don't scare me so much as they make me think, "Eesh, I'm glad I'm not that girl..."

I prefer scares in a horror movie. I love the movie The Haunting from 1963, not the crappy remake. I also love the 1958 version of House on Haunted Hill with the late Vincent Price. The remake of that one is garbage as well, too much CGI special effects. The older versions of these movies made you think was making all the noises. In the 1963 version of The Haunting trying to imagine what was pounding on the walls is terrifying.
