I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Humans series 2: Everything anda need to know - BT
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Humans was a huge hit when it aired on Channel 4 last year, and now the second series is starting shortly.
Below, we being you everything you need to know about the hit sci-fi show – the biggest on C4 for 20 years.
The second season – or Humans 2.0 as the posters promote the show state – will begin on Channel 4 on Sunday October 30 at 9pm. The series will also be eight episodes long.
All of the main cast from the first season are returning to the show, with one exception.
William Hurt who played Dr George Millican was killed towards the end of series one, so he won’t be coming back.
However, Gemma Chan as Mia, Colin Morgan as Leo Elster, Ivanno Jeremiah as Max, Sope Dirisu as Fred, Emily Berrington as Niska, Ruth Bradley as DS Karen Voss and Will Tudor as Odi.will all be returning.
Plus, the whole Hawkins family are returning: Tom Goodman-Hill as Joe Hawkins, Katherine Parkinson as Laura Hawkins, Lucy Carless as Mattie Hawkins, Theo Stevenson as Toby Hawkins and Pixie Davies as Sophie Hawkins.
New actors joining the cast include Sam Palladio (Nashville), Sonya Cassidy (The Paradise), Letitia Wright (Cucumber), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jessica Jones), Marshall Allman (Prison Break) and Bella Dayne (Plebs).
Channel 4 have said that series 2 picks up “several months” after the end of the first season.
A press statement reads: “Humanoid synthetics have become an inextricable part of society, obediently serving and protecting the human population. But what happens when these synths are given the right to consciousness and their own free will?”
Niska (Emily Berrington) still has the consciousness code, and Mia (Gemma Chan), Leo (Colin Morgan) and Max (Ivanno Jeremiah) still don’t know where she is. Meanwhile Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill) and Laura (Katherine Parkinson) attempt to mend their marriage.
“As unconfirmed reports of synths behaving inexplicably surface, the ripple effects of one simple yet seismic decision sees the past return dramatically and surprisingly to the door of the Hawkins house,” states Channel 4. “Joe, Laura and the entire family are faced with a difficult choice that will put the family under an intense spotlight.
“In the US, Milo Khoury (Marshall Allman), a young Silicon Valley billionaire, founder and CEO of a leading technology company is pioneering new research. But he needs help and attempts to recruit Dr Athena Morrow (Carrie-Anne Moss) - the country’s pre-eminent Artificial Intelligence expert. Suspicious of his motives and focussed on her own work Morrow is single-minded in her drive to create a new kind of machine consciousness.”
Humans returns to Channel 4 on Sunday October 30 at 9pm.
