I hate Chos she is so annoying. All she wants to do is talk about Cedric! L love Ginnys personality in the books and somewhat in the movies.

I feel bad for Cho, lol. She gets a bad name. Yes, she's annoying and she cries and she tries to make Harry jealous, but... she was a 16 year old kid who's boyfriend had just died! Of course she's going to cry! Of course she's messed up!

Plus, I like her story with Harry better then Ginny's. With Ginny, he just all of the sudden started feeling jealous and had a "monster" inside him. wtf?
But with Cho, his crush was adorable. She was this popular, beautiful girl and he was that kid covered in stinksap. He was cute and clumsy and I thought it was all really sweet.

And I know, I know, Marietta sucked and Cho stuck up for her. But I figure you can look at it two ways: 1. Cho didn't care enough about the DA and was willing to through it all away, or 2. She was sticking up for her best friend.
When Harry sticks up for his friends, he's a hero. But when Cho stuck up for Marietta? We cruicfy her!

I'm not saying that I'm Cho's biggest fan, but I guess I do like her better then Ginny. Ginny's just too "perfect" for me.

I agree with marissa -- Cho doesn't get enough credit! It was fun reading about Harry's crush on her, I found it amusing. I like Ginny more, though. Cho is somewhat undeveloped, but Ginny is spunky and fun. I'm not entirely sure that I like her with Harry...

hmmm i dunno, i liker ginny, but cho isnt bad either...maybe if her character had more time to develop and grow i would like her more.

They're both such terrible characters.

We'll start with Cho. I hate everything about her personality in the books. While she's nice to Harry, she plays twisted, dumb, girly mind games the entire time she's with him. I understand that she was going through a lot, having just lost Cedric, but she never once stopped to think that perhaps Harry was going through even more, and instead of being there to cheer each other up, she made every meeting a pity party. If she had just been straight with her feelings instead of making poor, oblivious Harry guess, then I would have a lot more respect for her. I hate people who aren't straightforward. And being a young girl who just experienced the death of someone close to her does not give her the right to be childish. Maybe it's just a personal problem, but I hate weak women.

And @marissa, you're looking at the Cho and Marietta thing entirely wrong. Of course Harry is going to stick up for his friends, but do you honestly believe that if any of them had done anything like that, he would have made excuses for them? I don't see how you can argue that he would.

As for movie Cho, Katie Leung did nothing but make her all the more undesirable. She was a pretty face with a flat personality and zero acting skills. I'm so glad she had as little screen time as she did.

Now Ginny:
I don't hate her as much as Cho I guess. Her personality seemed to pop out of nowhere, as did Harry's affections, but at least once she got a personality it was pleasant. Besides her Sue-ish qualities, the biggest problem I have with Ginny is Bonnie Wright. Her performance in HBP was ghastly. It was definitely cringe-worthy. I hated the discovery of the Half-Blood Prince's name in the potions book scene, the "Open up, you" scene, the shoelace scene, the Room of Requirement scene...basically everything she did made me want to punch the TV. I skip those parts when I watch the DVD. She was rubbish.

Like Cho. Hate Ginny.
