Award winning The Shawshank Redemption starring morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins followed closely in second, with The Lord of the Rings trilogy taking third place.
Other favourites to make the daftar were romantic classic Gone With the Wind starring Vivien Leigh and Clarke Gable as Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler, as well as Silence of the Lambs and Bridget Jones’s Diary.
Robert Pattinson may have earned himself an army of adoring female fan in vampire fantasy, Twilight but the film adaptation failed to match up to the novel’s success.
Starring Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, the film – based on the book oleh Stephenie Meyer – was voted as one of the worst adaptations.
The Da Vinci Code starring Tom Hanks and Paul Bettany, and Japanese tale Memoirs of a Geisha also failed to impress on the big screen.
