T.R. Knight will not be returning to the tampil and has been released from his contract. Since he has been released from his contract, it's most likely that George dies, atau maybe leaves to be a trauma surgeon in the army if he survives the surgery. George was, in season 5, hit and dragged oleh a bus for meters after pushing away a woman who was almost hit instead. His heartrate flatlines during the rushing to surgery atau during surgery (I'm not sure). It's not revealed whether he dies atau not at the end of the episode.
