Yet another picture of YoonA on the set of her upcoming Chinese drama \'God of War Zhao Yun\' has been released to the public!

On April 15, the set of \'God of War Zhao Yun\' updated their

Weibo with a behind-the-scenes picture of YoonA. Despite the low quality of the picture, YoonA looks pretty and innocent with her hair pulled back and a beautiful white gown that flows to the floor.

We can finally see YoonA on the small screen in China when the drama premieres in August on

Hmm...how do I say? She looks pretty, indeed. However, unfortunately as the part of a Chinese period/historical project, it looks like she has no spark or charm, I don\'t know why. @tiffahnknee Do you know that Han dynasty is not limited to one hairstyle for females? From what I see, Yoona\'s natural hair is very fine and slightly on the thin side, what the stylist could have done is to add some hair extension to make her hair look fuller. Yoona has a slender neck which looks pretty in modern wear, but it looks kind of elongated here. If she had donned a hairstyle that has some hair in front covering the side of her neck, she would have been very beautiful.

I saw some hairstyles in other chinese drama, I think the girls with lower ranks have more stylish hairstyles but the higher ones have simpler but have more elegant dresses...

@wz I agree with iamjaelee, the higher ranks have simpler, but more elegant hairstyles. Also, hairstyle says a lot about a person\'s role. Braided hair usually means that the character is more playful. A simple half up/half down means that the character is more boy-ish or knows martial arts. Judging from Yoona\'s hairstyle, her role probably the quieter type that is well read, intelligent, and potentially the goddess-y type that most guys will fall in love with at first sight. Like I said, it\'s a personal preference. Maybe the hairstylists thought she was fine without thicker hair (it also gets pretty heavy considering the length of current extensions). Also, I only responded to your comment because you felt that they were trying to make her look bad on purpose.

@tiffahnknee haha yes, besides, who are we to judge? We\'re not experts on historical topics and trends ;) Every drama consults experts that have specialties related to their drama :))

But in all the historical chinese dramas that I\'ve watched, girls of higher ranks including unmarried ones have more elaborate hairstyles (to fit all those pretty hair accessories in I guess?). The only exception are those with carefree, non-materialistic personalities (which is what I think Yoona\'s character will be), but even so, their hair will still be elaborate with little to none accessories. I guess we\'ll only know when the drama comes out :) Can\'t wait for August to come!

tbh there are prettier chinese actresses with much better figures than her... she just looks so gaunt and thin
