I'd prefer to see the prequel about Age of Heroes, to see the history of Essos. Too bad this prequel was cancelled.

I liked the prequel book about the first half of the Targaryen history, but I'm not sure it'd work as a TV series. It covers too many years and has too many generations so the characters would be changing all the time.
