yeah so i have been playing the flute for about 4 years and i decided i would enter this competition that my skool had with a ton of other skools down the west coast (Lutheran Elementary School Tournament).
i had my flute teacher help me pick the piece i was going to play. we decided that i would play "the Swan" oleh Saint-Saëns (prounced: say son) from the carnival of animals. it was originally meant for violin which made it a little difficult
i had a finally made it just about perfect, wen i broke my collarbone. b4 u feel srry for me: i did get to play. the break set me back a little and i had to learn to play through it. i was fine tho...
so i played my piece (in my opinion i did absolutely fabulously!) i thought for sure i was going to get a ribbon but i didnt!
i got a 20 out of 25 and i needed 22 to get a blue ribbon! this made me sad/mad because the tahun b4 i got a 21 out of 25. but anyway back to this year... i couldnt believe it!
wen i got my score sheet back, i didnt really care bcuz it wood only make me made angry. he berkata that i didnt play the piece the composer wood hav wanted it, even tho the composer never wanted the piece to be played bcuz he thought it was terrible!!!!

i just though i wood rant about that!!! thx 4 reading!
