Happy Solstice (3)

TheCountess That was actually Xena's main weapon (called a chakram - a razor sharp weapon working on the same principal as a boomerang). In this episode, some kids from the equivilant of an orphanage stole it, and used it as a tree topper. Trying to recover it lead her and her partner (Gabrielle) to discover that celebrating solstice was outlawed in this little town, as well as having any toys. That lead them into an adventure of trying to get people together, get some laws changed, and showing their version of how Santa Claus came about. There's also a scene where Gabrielle gives her ass (donkey, mule, whatever you want to call it) to a man and woman who strangely resemble Mary and Joseph, so it's kind of a telling of how a number of Christmas / Solstice things happened ...at least in the universe of that show.
