Chapter 4
Thinking Back
Esme's POV
Today is the hundreth hari Rosalie has been a vampire...and nothing has changed...
She still spends most of her time in her room crying...Carlisle and I ask Edward what she is thinking but it is always the same...
Royce and what he did to her...
I felt a bond with Rosalie even though we rarely interacted, I almost knew how she was feeling but her pain would always be more...I mean being raped and beaten oleh the man anda tought anda loved can't be easy...though I still thought of her as my real daughter.
When Rosalie would come down we would hunt and explore new areas in Tennessee and we would make small talk...however that was the extent to most of our conversation and interactment...
Carlisle and I shared our consern for Rosalie but we did not want to menyeberang, salib a line that she was not comforable with and just waited for her to adjust...

Rosalie's POV
I was upstairs in my room...again...
I rarley came out and I was greatful that my new parents did not pressure me to recover and come out of my comfort zone until I was ready...Esme came up from time to time and asks me if I was thirsty atau needed anything which, again, I was greatful for but never pushed me for information...
I felt bad for staying in my room all the time but I think Esme understands and Carlisle was proud of me for resisting human blood as well as I have. But Edward hated me, and I hated him, we did not get along from the moment we saw each other...

We had been in Tennessee for about 5 weeks and even though I did not admit it...I liked getting out of Rochester and opening up to new things.
My room was pretty much the same as it was in the last house but a little bigger with a better floor plan and the windows let in lebih light.
The week before we left I went to my old halaman awal to check on my real family even though I was stronly advised not too. My father and mother were heartbroken, even though I knew they were only disrought that their Rosalie was not there to help them get into parties with her beauty. At least my brothers seemed to miss the true me.
When the house was empty later that night I went into my room and took small personal things that my parents would not notice were gone. Esme promised me that I could go back in a few years and collect lebih of my things when my story died down and the fliers and newspaper artikel stopped selling.
I did not go to my own funeral for obvious reasons...but Carlisle and Esme went for an jam atau so to check how things were going so they knew leaving was safe.
Royce was out of my life for good and...
