Chapter 1

Pain
Rosalie’s POV

There I was, in a dark alley; my head pounded with pain, my arms had deep cuts, my legs brushed from being forced open. It felt like every one of my ribs were broken and my stomach was numb. I had no lebih energy; I could not pindah any part of my body.

I was in so much pain; I just wanted to have it be over, I only wanted to die.

I used all my strength to open my eyes, I looked down and all I saw was a red liquid surrounding my body. My eyes filled up with tears so I closed them trying to save every last bit of sanity I had left.

It seemed like hours since I had been left here and I was still alive; I was beginning to get very upset.

Please, God just let me go!

I started screaming in my head until all my thoughts became hazy.

Finally

After a few moments I still comprehended where I was and what happened.

Just let me die!

It got very quiet and the pain was subsiding it was almost peaceful, until I heard a car pull up, a door slam, and foot steps getting louder and louder.

Now someone comes! It’s a little late!

I should have been happy but I wasn’t.

“Oh! My…” A male voice exclaimed.

I felt someone touch my head.

Just leave me alone, I am getting what I want.

“Rosalie Lillian Hale, I…I…I”

The man was at a loss of words and was in deep thought.

“I can’t let anda die; anda are much too beautiful and kind.”

"Leave me alone, please!" I tried to speak but all that came out was a painful moan.

“I am so sorry, Miss. Hale!”

Before I could comprehend what he had berkata my neck was on api and soon so was the rest of my body. This pain was worse than before. detik later I felt two cold hands beneath me, and then I was flying.

The pain inside me was excruciating, I could not take it any lebih but I had a horrible feeling this was only the beginning.

My head and legs were dangling off different ends of the man’s arms and my hair was flying in the wind. My hands were clenched into fists as I sobbed into his shirt.

“I’m so sorry, we are almost there.”

Where is ‘There’?

menit passed and the pain only got worse. There was so much pressure my head felt like it was going to explode. Then, all I could see was fog.

I did not know where I was, atau why I was there but I did know was in agony and just wanted to be put out of my misery.

In between my screams I heard whispers around me, I was able to make out two male voices; one sounded like the one who put me in this distress. A door opened as someone walked toward me and wiped my forehead with a cool damp cloth which soothed me and the pain gently subsided, for a moment.

“Rosalie, please take small breaths and calm down.” A woman whispered in my ear.

I opened my eyes and was surprised to see three people standing around me. I quickly became jealous of how beautiful they were.

There was a young man and woman who looked in their mid twenties and a teenager who looked a little older than me.

A sharp pain hit me in my stomach so I let out a loud scream, the woman shushed me and wiped my head again; the man began to tell me something but I was in to much pain to pay attention.

I looked over and saw the two men arguing over something but when the teen pointed at me I assumed it was about me.

Before closing my eyes again I took a quick glance around the room and a mirror caught my attention. There was a four people’s reflection and they all looked like malaikat except for one and that had to be me. I looked worse than I had thought, my face was bruised and scratched. I was in a bed, I had blood all over my body that was now on the sheets, and one of my arms and legs were bending the wrong direction.

All the sudden I screamed and look away from mirror as another rush of api swept through my body.

There was another deep pain but this time it was in my leg and arm.

The pain subsided for a moment as I stopped screaming and the blonde man came over to the side of the bed.

“Rosalie, I know how much pain anda are in…” The man berkata as he was trying to quiet me.

Sure anda do…!

“…it will stop in a few hours, please just relax I will explain everything later, just know anda are in good hands.”

The pain came back and now it felt like my skin was ripping apart and my hair was being pulled out, I began screaming again.

After countless hours of indescribable pain it started to subside. Only the man and woman were in the room now, the woman kept whispering in my ear and wiping my head so when a hazy mist filled my head I dozed off into a deep sleep...
