I also don't like his character while I think Edith can be a nice girl if she wants.

I think she would fit with Anthony Strallan. He'd make her happy and provide her with a certain status she needs...

Physically they both would be perfect together, but as Perfidia stated, "He's a servant and She's a lady". I read somewhere that a handsome new male character is a potential love interest for Lady Edith ( and He's much handsomer than, Matthew, and Branson, too). I hope it's true.
