When you ask someone what their least favourite Disney movie is, more often than not they will opt for something modern. In 2006, everyone’s least favourite was High School Musical. Anything 3D (that isn’t Pixar) tends to get this too. In general, Disney fans often prefer the traditional 2D films to anything else, and this is something I certainly have in common with the majority. However, my least favourite Disney movie is Mary Poppins – a film that does contain 2D animation, but combines it with live action, and was released long before my time. Even though I adore a lot of Disney movies that were made before I was born, and many others that were created when I was very young, there are still some older movies that I don’t enjoy as much as others!

But, to be fair, I watched pretty much its entire filmography this past summer, and concluded that even the heavily-flawed, pre-Renaissance Disney films at least had some amount of charm. That's why, even though a good deal of my childhood faves have been bumped down my mental list, plenty of the ones I'd originally disliked remained there. I guess "Chicken Little" would be my absolute least favorite, but unlike some Disney fans, it being filmed in 3D has nothing to do with it. If it were hand-drawn, but every other factor hadn't been affected, then neither would my ultimate decision.
