disney Article: disney Princesses Gone Bad

Just to note, THIS IS MY OPINION! Please don't take this offensive! If anda see any mistakes with ages, then please notify me. And please keep the komentar polite.

Recently, I have been doing lots of disney research and I noticed something. The Princesses Ages......
Snow White= 14
Cinderella= 19
Aurora= 16
Ariel= 16
Belle= 19
Jasmine= 15 (going to be 16)
Pocahontas= 17-18 (1st movie)
Mulan= 16-20
Tiana= 19
Rapunzel= 18
There's a couple I would like to point out. Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine. Let's start with Ariel. She's 16 and wants to go and marry someone because of, but of course, true love. Can a 16 tahun old REALLY know if it's true love? Plus, they get married, and she's still 16. detik of all, in the 2nd movie, it shows that they're still on that same boat, that they got married on, and they have a baby, Melody. That means Ariel must've been about 17 when she had Melody, and about 16 when she got pregnant. She could be Disney's 16 and Pregnant! Princess Edition. Did THAT change your opinion on Ariel?
If it didn't, I'm sure this on Snow White will. She's 14, and for pete's sake her stepmother wants to kill her. She moves in to a hourse with 7 little men. And anda never know what could happen THERE! Plus, at the end, she is taken away to live with the prince, and probably MARRY him! Umm..... have they even been through puberty yet?
Now, Aurora I guess I sorta have an exception for. I mean she was asleep for like 100 years, so I mean that would make her 116, but technically time sorta froze making her still 16. And I know it never actually DOES tampil them getting married, but come on, we all know they did. And again, 16? Really> Does Aurora want to gabung the daftar for 16 and Pregnant! Princess Edition? (I'm sure Snow joined.....)
anda know, melati is 15, so technically, she's another bad girl, but her parents WANT her to get married, so anda can't really blame her... Although she found Aladdin, and seemed love-struck.... We all know how THAT ends. If anda honestly don't know though, here's a clue, the lady gets FAT.
So anda see, these princesses aren't as innocent as anda think. Are these really the role model for little girls? Let's just say these princesses are lebih naughty then just disobeying their parents.

IsaacKuo Aurora is 16 when she's married. Maleficent gloats to Prince Phillip that he'll be imprisoned for 100 years before she lets him go as an old man (if he lives that long), but the three fairies free Phillip almost immediately afterward. It's not absolutely clear how long Aurora is asleep before she gets married, but it's perhaps as little as a few hours or as much as a couple days. And yes, she gets married shortly after Phillip awakens her. They go almost immediately downstairs to their wedding celebration.

Jessikaroo Times were different then, the ages are mostly staying faithful to the stories which were made in a very different time. The age of consent is 16 in most of the world, and in some countries, girls still get married in their teens. Jasmine I don't think it's very fair to call her out on it, one her culture was forcing her to choose a suitor at 16. Then she obviously waited a while to marry Aladdin, it took 3 movies and a series. Snow, well, we don't know if they did get married right after that. And I think it's very hard to deny that they loved each other. Ariel, well I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Aurora, well the theme of her movie is true love conquers all. I'll let that slide. All in all, their stories are fiction. They're not supposed to be reality, and they live in worlds where love at first sight is the norm. Basically, they grew up in different worlds than us. We are always reminded to wait to get married, but in their worlds it's normal to marry young. So I'll let them all slide. We don't know what happened after their movies ended any ways. Ps - Phillip and Aurora were betrothed. They would've gotten married whether they were in love or not (except for Phillip wanting to marry the peasant girl).

Pyjamarama I like Jasmine because she's older.

IsaacKuo Phillip never took the betrothal thing seriously, and his father took Phillip's instant dismissal of the betrothal seriously. It doesn't seem that Phillip's father would have forced him to marry against his will.
