I love them both. It's just something about Nakoma I like a little more now.

Nakoma is kinda generic, but I still like her. Lottie is just a hoot!

this was HARD! I love both! Lottie isnt a brat, she's just very spoiled (Tvtropes lists her as "spoiled sweet", not spoiled rotten, lol) and she's girly and hilarious and both are very good friends but Nakoma is my favorite character from Pocahontas and is a better friend to her than she is to Nakoma.

Nakoma is loyal and was protective of her rather reckless friend, now that I think almost was almost motherly to her.

Those are my favourite female friendships from the DP movies. I have to say I love Nakoma more as a character seeing as Pocahontas as a movie is significantly more consistent, substantial and organically constructed thus the characterization coming off as more layered and appealing than in PaTF. With that said, Charlotte proved her unconditional love and devotion to Tiana by actions more times than Nakoma did in regards to Pocahontas.
