I never even noticed the Cinderella one, but this one annoys me a little bit, as well as when they show Mulan in an extremely girly outfit, when clearly it does not match her personality.

This is why I dislike Pocahontas, she hardly smiles at all!

I just hate that the princesses are all showcased as being obsessed with tea, pretty dresses, and smiling. I understand from a corporate POV, but it totally strips them of their individual identities and personality traits.

^oh, that annoys me too. Most of them are adventurous and wouldn't be content with that lifestyle anyway. Imagine Jasmine spending her life at tea parties... she'd hate it.

What I can't stand the most is that Pocahontas and Mulan is hardly or ever at all included! I'm just now finally seeing mercahndise with all 10 princesses insted a few here or few there.Of course you can see all princesses in merchandise mainly at Disney Store.They have the regular dolls,the special limited edition designer collection,stationary stuff and also clothing.But Disney Store so far is the only place with all princesses included the other stores hasn't done that yet.Well at least there still some place that includes all 10 even if it's Disney Store. And I agree with other people about them with the tea party and such and loosing thier personality.In merchandising they seem happy go lucky and such.I just wish in merchandising they keep same personalities as in movies.And I'm sure not all them enjoy tea parties and such.For example Tiana she hard worker and she too involed of making up new recipes for restrunt then tea parties.And she sure wouldn't aprove of wearing a big poofy dress all time.She not your everyday princess you know.And for Rapunzel she wouldn't like to wear dress the she feels uncomfortable let alone shoes as she big part of her life never had to do.Plus she always be to busy painting something new plus not mettion like to spend as much time as she can with Eugene instead of attending a boring tea party. And Jasmine wouldn't like it either as she don't like being stuck in palace.And Pocahontas surely wouldn't do all time either as she too adventurus plus too busy of keeping the peace between her people and the English.The only princesses I see that might enjoy to a degree would be Belle,Cinderella,Snow White to name few.The others are way too adventurous to settle for boring tea parities and balls all the time.

What was going on the time that Pocahontas was alive(to her people) was awful. It's more realistic that she doesn't smile much. The real Pocahontas wouldn't have.

I totally agree with Pocahontas1Fan!! Yes, I agreed, Disney doesn't realize that most of the girls are not the typical princesses in Barbie standards. Only Belle, Cindy, Alice, and SW would enjoy tea parties and balls. The other girls would rather do things that are more adventurous than tea parties. Rapunzel would rather do painting or spend time with Eugene. Ariel would rather look for human objects to collect or spend time with Eric. Pocahontas and Aurora would rather hang out in the woods. Jasmine would rather explore or spend time with Aladdin (and make sure he doesn't get into any trouble). Mulan would rather have fun doing martial arts with Shang. Tiana would rather run her restaurant or spend time with Naveen. SW, and Belle wouldn't mind wearing poofy ball dress, but the rest of the girls would rather wear dresses that are simple. However, I give credit to Disney for making their poofy dresses close to how women wore in the middle ages, renaissance or post-renaissance.

Except for Poca's lack of smile. The fact that she never smiles is tradition. Native Americans don't smile or show their teeth when somebody takes a picture of them. I think Disney was doing that in respect to the Native Americans.

This is the worse, but all of above would be a close second.

I go to a school with mostly aboriginal kids and they all smile in pictures. Although thats in Canada, maybe it's different in America.

i am especially pissed in the way they change ariel and belle from emotional heart reaching women into girly princesses wanting the prince

I didn't know about the Native Americans not smiling in photos tradition, but I don't understand it? Cameras were only invented like 100 years ago, so how did it become a tradition?

it's quite annoying because in my opinion she looks much better in blue
