I'm not speaking from experience or anything. I'm just pondering something.

It's called debating. Arguing is pointless shouting with nothing really to back anything said. We have intelligent conversations, and when they turn bad, they turn to debates with reasonable explanations behind our opinions.

I agree with firegirl, I see it more as civil debating. And we are behind computers. Some things may come across wrong on both ends. Or one person may have a bad day and say something, or you just had a slip of the " fingers" -LOL. I dont think we truely argue. I have gotten frustrated with a couple people, but I was confused, and I hold no grudges. Plus I admit part of it was me too, I have mood disorders.

I agree exactly with firegirl1515.

I'd say most of it's just spirited fans and debate. In fact, for a spot with so many different types of people I think we do ok, since as these movies/characters are in some cases so different, and therefor can attract quite different types of people, we are a spot with members who are fairly varied in manner and prioritised values.

Most of the more heated conversations I've seen have been resolved quickly, and were often discovered to be caused by a misunderstanding (for example, anyone who has seen more than one comment of mine knows I annoyingly ramble, which has once or twice been misinterpreted as me being angry or ranty, when really I just suck at being concise).

I like the arguing, it's fun.
