They are both hated in this club, but not as much as Ariel is.... Most people who dislike Ariel ( the majority on here) can't name one good thing about Ariel without undermining the compliment they've given her.

On Elsa...you get touchy silence. Silence is not the same thing as overt hatred, and open vilification of a character. But people do tend to like Merida more than Elsa, though.

Merida has a lot of lovers in this club, as well as quite a few haters. But I see more lovers of Merida on here, than her haters. Merida is often second, third, or fourth on most people's lists...behind Belle and Tiana, that is.

She's the only princess that Pixar made and she didn't have a prince charming like all the others.

Unfortunately. Peoples often hate her more just because the iimpact of Frozen's overpopularity. I agree with disnerdtobe said that she didn't deserve to be hated.
Merida have both haters and fans here.

These two are definitely the most hated on this club, but Elsa is definitely more hated than Merida. I disagree with wavesurf that most users like Merida. I feel like I see more Merida haters than lovers, although there are certainly both. It would be interesting to make a poll about.

I think a few people are warming up to Merida now. But I remember a time when she had many haters. Before and after people watched the movie. Because she doesn't follow the DP formula that was set. But since then because of Frozen's over popularity and the lack of character development, Elsa is the most hated. For two years now, would you say? Or longer?

as of now, Merida, since most content have started excluding Anna and Elsa as they are not official DPs. Earlier I'd say, Elsa.

Merida at least has a few vocal fans; at best Elsa is usually just tolerated. I think all the backlash against Frozen adds to it.

There's no way Ariel is anywhere close to being as disliked as either of these two.
