That is annoying. But we're getting Moana, too. I hope this trend of more Princesses of Color continues. Not every DP fan is Caucasian, and it would be nice to get more representation.

Having a token minority is really the opposite of true diversity. Not that I'm not happy about her though, but I hate this "we need a token _____ because eww too many white girls" attitude. Diversity is just a rude word for "less white people" now.

It'd be much more engaging if she had her own movie in the canon instead of appearing only on a show (therefore she'll have less visibility).
