It's not that I don't care, but I am not sure. I would have loved her as a villain, but she is good as a good character.

I think she would make a great villain, but a lot of people liked Frozen so much because they felt like they could relate to Elsa. With an illness, or depression, or not feeling like they fit in; I think they really appreciated Frozen and it made them feel more comfortable in their own skin. So I think she should be a good character. :)

I would have liked her to start out the way she is in the movie but have her become the villain that reforms in the end. Also keep her design she has in the film because I don't care much for her original design.

Or maybe a "sympathetic" villain. Like she grew up bitter due to her upbringing and her parents isolating her so she has her little "no good deed" wicked witch moment where she runs away and starts doing evil things but Anna's love redeems her in the end.

She could've been a more multi-layered villain unlike previous ones. Or her morality could have been more ambiguous like the original character in "The Snow Queen," either way they could have made her a much more nuanced character instead of rewriting her as "good" because of one song.

I love her as she is, but I think it would have been interesting to see her as a villain.

I think a lot of the stories plot holes would have disappeared.

The movie was getting so good when she started using her powers to protect herself imo, I thought it was gonna get more adventury and she would turn evil for a while and I was really excited and then the movie just went downhill from there to me.

I love her the way she is. But I think making her a complex, tragic villain who reforms, would interesting and make a lot more sense.

Yeah. Frozen desperately needed a villain. Not a cardboard villain like Hans. Not an external, elemental villain, like ice powers. But a character villain, who could have started out bad and reformed because of Anna's heroism and kindness towards her.

The movie's great as is, but if she was the villain, it still would have been great. :D

what 8804 said. Heck, Elsa DID make a better fake villain than Hans did as a real one. A good villain shouldn't be a one note character like him but have sympathetic layers amongst the bad things they do, which is exactly how Elsa was (Ramses from TPOE is a great example of this). It's only that we the audience are shown that she's actually on the hero's side so we don't see her as a villain, though we probably would otherwise.

^ Yes! Misguided/sympathetic like Rameses would have been perfect!
