YES, please. It's like Disney has a thing against characters who stop and think before they act or something. More than half the DPs and Heroines are impulsive or wild. Let's go against the norm, Disney.

And Tiana isn't that cautious. if she was, nobody would be calling her proactive all the time like they do because she wouldn't be doing much. After all, she trusted a talking frog, an alligator, and a witch doctor, which isn't very careful. You don't need to be foolishly impulsive to 'do something'.

I have more empathy for a princess that tries than a princess that only succeeds

I prefer the active ones, not the ones who DON'T take any risks, never move out of their comfort zones, and simply stand there and look angry, frustrated, and sad all of the time. They BORE me. I like those characters who are not "self-righteous."
