this and Cinderella's. they all have personalities, some just more subtle ones than others. People just don't even try to analyze any of the princesses (or with ones like Elsa, they OVER-analyze them and project traits that aren't there onto them). Aurora definitely has a personality as we've all discussed again and again.

Cinderella of course had nowhere else to go and never needed help for anything except going to the ball because there was no other way to go (and a ball isn't a dangerous situation like needing someone to rescue you from real danger). She got help because they wanted to reward her kindness.

I also don't think Anna is stupid. people constantly confuse naivete and rashness with stupidity and none of those are the same.

Ughhh.
This and Aurora (I think she has a pretty clear personality) mostly.
Though I disagree/think unfair a lot of these.

also she was just being kind to someone she thought needed help and thought the old lady was just rewarding her, she was a princess and raised to be polite so its not like she could really turn her down, it would look rude to her.

I laugh at this.

I think the hype surrounding Elsa is interesting, to say the least. She's not very well-developed as a princess/queen/character, and makes just a handful of "active choices" in the movie.

I don't think Elsa is over-analyzed. As for projecting traits onto characters that aren't there, the same can be said for the way some people dislike Ariel, and talk her down. What doesn't appeal to you, doesn't appeal.

The top ones are the Elsa one and the Aurora one and Jasmine one.

Elsa runs away from her problems, which i am sure a lot of people do, if not all. people who say that are hypocrites.

Aurora, well i dont like her, but i feel its unfair to say she doesnt have a personality because all the DP's do.

And Jasmine has a bad temper. So what? Many people do.

Everyones personality is different, and their flaws make them relatable!

Oh yea and the Snow white one! Snow is just to kind and naive. People dislike Snow white, for the same reason they like Belle!!

People like Ariel regardless if she goes to Ursula or not, but they hate Snow for taking the apple.

I just feel people are so biased against the Classics and they treat them different from the Renaissance girls cuz the Renaissance girls show more, "girl power".

Pretty much all of them, but I will never understand when people call her stupid for this.

Also Mulan's since when is going into WAR, having everything come easy. If Cinderella ran away she would be a street rat, like Aladdin. If anyone has watched "A little Princess" the Ms.Munchin (also played lady Tramaine) says "You will do what a say or I will throw you out! The world isn't kind to beggars." Meaning once she is out she'll need to find a job, but no one is going to hire a dusty, dirty street rat. The best plan for Cindy is to stay where she is, and she did.

Aurora also definitely has a personality.

Really I disagree with most of these as reasons for disliking a character.
Jasmine and Elsa's are the only ones I agree with, but really those are just traits that makes them more relatable which I like.

Anna is the only one a agree with fully.

This and Snow's. Elsa is kinda dead on though for me..

If anyone remembers old Fanpop than this used to be a very common opinion about Aurora. Not so much anymore, yet still prevalent and of course I disagree with it.

Do people actually say that about Mulan? at best all I hear is they think she has a flat personality. but they're always quick to add something good about her too. I never really hear her get truly criticized.

^People usually don't criticize her, but when they do I heard this explanation (which I don't agree with).

and when people say this i think "did we watch the same movie? maybe our definition of no personality is different but Aurora definitely has one" whether it appeals to you is different
