Definitely. She's from a Pixar film and she doesn't sing. That doesn't mean I don't like her, though. :D
Pocahontas's royalty is questionable, and Mulan isn't even royalty. Elsa seems to not belong, too because she is a queen, not a princess, for most of the movie.

I just can't decide. I don't believe Disney Princesses should sing or be girly or be princesses, these things don't really matter for me so...

I think so. If it was my way, the lineup would be:

Snow White
Cinderella
Ariel
Tiana
Rapunzel
Anna

6 princesses. I based this on criteria, not preference. But perhaps I'm being a bit too strict.

She is Pixar and even tough I know she is in the line-up she is not any of my Disney princess lists. I feel there should be a Heroine line-up for Mulan, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, Jane etc. and Merida be with the other popular Pixar characters. But probably this way it is more marketable.

Silverrose1991 could you explain why Aurora, Belle and Jasmine are not in your line-up if it has nothing to do with personal preference? Aurora and Jasmine are even born princesses and Cinderella and Tiana are not. I am curious.

Are people voting Pocahontas because they like her least? I understand most probably see Merida and Elsa as people who fit to the line-up, but I would have expected that Mulan would lead this since she is not princess in any way but she is last!

Why is Elsa here? She's exactly like Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, etc. she fits in great.

She is the only one not married into or born royal. I'm totally fine with her being in it though..

Onyxis - Well, Aurora and Jasmine aren't the protagonists of their movies, even though Aurora is the title character, and we never see Belle marry the Beast (ok, maybe I should include her).

She's Pixar, doesn't sing, doesn't have a prince (or at least a male counter part) so the Princess and Prince line ups are uneven and it looks funny.

Silverrose1991- Oh all right, I thought the protagonist angle. But since Belle is definitely a protagonist I assumed it could not be it. I am not certain but I think Beauty and Beast was supposed to end in Belle and Beast´s wedding but to save money they just animated the same dance from Sleeping Beauty. However it it seems quite likely they would marry anyway.

I think is would be better that the princess line-up would be more exclusive since it is getting crowded and the longer it stays the same the less likely it would be that people would accept that some are removed from it. Since Moana is far away there current situation is fine. However if Angelina from Giants becomes a fan-favorite and people start to wish she was included despite not being a princess nor a protagonist it would get a bit ridiculous. And if Angelina is a latina as her name success she might there really could be people who would want her to the line. Which is why a heroine line would be nice, the female characters from Big Hero 6 could be included there as well. Anyway sorry for the rather pointlessly long post again.

Yeah Pixar on its own... but also no Prince, no singing... she sticks out like a sore thumb in the lineup.

Also, Pocahontas might be in the lead because her movie is the only one that isn't critically successful and she's the least favorite among children... just saying! It's all about marketing.
