Tbh I consider Tiana a part of the modern princess, not the interracial princesses.

I think so because tbh Tiana is so different from the other modern girls and Poca/Mulan are so different from the early Ren girls. It doesn't have anything to do with race, just more of personalities.

Maybe not officially by the Disney company, but as a topic of conversation just like Classic/Renaissance/Modern Era discussions or "born into/married into/discovered she was royalty" grouping. White majority is sadly a fact of life in the Western World, and trying to pretend that racial differences and minority under-representation in media doesn't exist does everyone a huge disservice. Don't try to pretend race differences don't exist, any more than you would different genders or sexual orientations.

Acknowledge the differences. Embrace them. Revel in them. And for pity's sake, be kind about it.

When I look at the Disney Princess club poster I can't help but notice it's all white European girls with different hair colors, then a block of ethnic women (Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan and Tiana; to say nothing of former or unofficial Disney Princesses who should be there, like Esmeralda and Kida) then it's all white European girls again. I'm not going to pretend I'm color or culture blind. They're there. Might as well acknowledge it.

That would seem divided by race and unnecassary.

I agree with princecatcher93 and @dclairmont, I can understand your point but I think Tiana is also very different from Pocahontas and Mulan
