I really like her. She is a bit too much of the rebel child for me to love her though and she needs to consider her family sometimes, but she is just so hard to not like. Ariel is so fun to watch and I love her adventurousness.

I absolutely adore her. I can relate to her in so many ways. I love how brave she is and I love her adventurous spirit. I also love what most people don't like about her. I love the rebelliousness and I love all of her flaws. She's perfect in my eyes.

I do not like her. I do not relate to her and the way she did things, and is just not the type if people I am interested in real life. I don't hate her, but she is my 2nd least favourite.

I kind of share Jayden-G's opinions on Ariel, I don't hate her, because she has a few redeeming qualities, but I have quite a few problems with her.
And, judging from the votes, Fanpop's general Ariel consensus is that they like her.

Well, I guess ariel is not as underrated here as I thought she was... Maybe I'm still stuck in the past, people here used to hate her alot.

^ Ariel has never been underrated on Fanpop IMO... 80% have always liked/loved her, it's just the 20% that don't are very vocal about it

I bought The Little Mermaid a couple of months ago and it made me fall in love with her again :)
