I felt like their cinta was quite shallow, like she was all like "Dayum, he's fine. Lemme become human so I can ciuman that boy!" and while he was kind, and she witnessed it, I just didn't feel it was real.

This is basically again because of a lack of chemistry. I found it quite heroic that he saved her, but she was like, what? 14 (I think)? So I always was a little uncomfortable with that.

Snow White – Sneaking into food and being a comfort lover

Yup! Ah, taking a tid bit out of refrigerator is something pretty naughty and silly and mischievous! I think Snow would hate being on a diet, just a wild guess lol! She...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of anda won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, atau a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

Here's my quick daftar on the ranking of disney Princess signature outfits:

13. Rapunzel tower dress:
It's the most generic dress i could have imagined for a princess, purplish pink, with motives and stripes and criss-cross stitching, like the designer was sort of confused as to which desain to follow, and put them all in one. I'm not a fan of puffy sleeves either, and why there's this stripes on them, really off-putting. They could have done better with the color and design. Only good thing about the dress is its silhouette, very modest and flattering. I don't know if it suits her personality...

As some of anda might be able to tell, I have been in a very musical mood lately. Along those themes, I wanted to make 2 musik countdowns: 1 for Songs and 1 for Scores. I cinta Disney's music, especially from the team of Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. I almost never like covers of DP songs oleh disney Pop stars so unless otherwise mentioned, all versions here are the original ones from the film. Here are my rankings for favorit songs:

Alright this is lebih of a rant than anything because "Enchanted" is one of my favorit film and I cannot believe she isn't in the line up atau is thought of as a disney Princess. And I know the movie is making fun of the stereotypical princess when she meets the real world but there are so many allusions to the movie, especially The Little Mermaid in a lot of them. BUT ANYWHO let's get started.
The usual reason disney deems a character a disney Princess is usually because they are the heroine of the movie and have a few musical numbers where berkata heroine sings in. They also are very beautiful...

For me, Belle is one of the smartest princesses. I know some of anda wouldn't agree, but I really think she is brainy. Now I'll start my discussion...

1. Being a Bookworm
For me, bookworms are oftenly smart. anda know, the lebih anda read the lebih anda learn, the lebih anda absorb information. Plus, membaca a lot of stories makes her articulate and English literate. Last one, this is a personal experience, all of the bookworms I know are one of those very smart people I know in this world, so it may also be the same instance as Belle.

2. Being Open Minded
For me, Belle is an open minded person. Open mindedness...

Oh come on, her smile is not very pretty, it feels as if she's forced to smile, sometimes her smile can look very pretty, but oftenly it just feels forced and that is one of the reasons to why she's rarely seen smiling in the merchandise.

One of my all time favorit authors is Jane Austen. When I read her novels I feel as if I have been transported to a different time and place; I feel the same way when I watch a disney movie. One of the subjects that interest me the most about film (including DP movies) is the box-office. I think that if used in the right way (I mean, inflation-adjusting things), it might be a good way to compare film and understed why they are populer atau not.
