The sky reflected the Baudelaires' moods for it was gray--just like them. They were sitting in the backseat of Mr. Poe's car, driving toward the most horrible place on earth.
After a fit of coughing, Mr. Poe cleared his throat. "Children, I hope anda know why I'm doing this."
"You can't send us to Count Olaf!" Klaus cried.
"I'm sorry, children, but he is the only man in this city who would be willing to adopt a group of criminals," Mr. Poe said, with a tone of hatred visible.
"Those were Olaf's crimes! He framed us!" berkata Violet.
"Now, children, there's no use lying about it." He parked in front of the same black and rusty structure that the Baudelaires had lived in only a tahun ago.
He got out and opened the door. "Don't worry, perhaps Count Olaf has returned to his senses."
"Fyork!" Sunny shrieked, which probably meant, "As if he had any at all."
They dragged their small luggages toward the torn-up house, and Klaus reluctantly knocked on the door, avoiding the eye that was staring at him.
"Orphans!" Olaf boomed. He pulled the three of them inside for a hug.
ungu sniffed. She could smell the wine on his breath.
"Well, children, enjoy your stay," berkata Mr. Poe, putting his hat on. "You know that anda can always contact me at Multuary Money Management."
Olaf closed the door on him even though it looked like he wasn't done. "So...a tahun is very long, isn't it, orphans?"
"Stop calling us that!" ungu snapped. Just a tahun ago, she and her siblings would've been with their loving parents, not in the care of a money-loving maniac.
"Gah!" berkata Sunny, which meant, "I absolutely agree with my sister."
"Ah, so the monkey still speaks it's language," Olaf looked down at Sunny, who was about the size of an oversized watermelon.
"She's not a monkey, and we know why anda want us here," berkata Klaus. "You only want our fortune, which anda won't get."
Olaf looked him in the eye. "Oh, really? Because I have many lebih associates who know everything about you, and all the ways to get me into that big fortune of yours."
He ushered them up the stairs and into the room the three of them had shared a long time ago. "Well, good night, orphans, we have a big hari ahead of us!" and with a snicker he slammed the door and locked it.

The Baudelaires couldn't sleep that night, so they cried the whole time. They thought how miserable their lives were, and how they wished the api had never devoured their home, and the two people they loved the most.
They woke up with heavy hearts, and when they heard the clanking of dishes downstairs, they got dressed and trudged down the stairs.
"Morning, orphans!" Count Olaf greeted. On the meja he had set up three bowls of kadaluarsa oatmeal. "Eat your meal quickly, for anda have tons of chores to do today!" He flicked a paper toward Violet.
Both sides of the paper were filled of mindless tasks. They didn't say anything, but sat down and ate their oatmeal.
oleh the afternoon, the Baudelaires were on Task #7,492, washing every inch of the dirty floor.
ungu covered her mouth after a mountain of dust erupted on her. "How could Mr. Poe do this to us? He put us in the care of the worst man in the world!"
Klaus frowned. "It seems that he wouldn't care if Olaf took our fortune."
ungu was about to respond when there was a sudden knock on the door. She stood up to answer it, but Count Olaf beat her to it.
He peeped into the eyehole and shouted, "Intrude!" he scurried back to ungu and Klaus and pulled them up from the floor.
The door opened. A pretty girl with brown hair stepped inside. She smiled at the Baudelaire orphans. Behind her, was a hairy monster.
The Baudelaires didn't know who scared them more: Count Olaf, atau the monster.
Both of them were wearing clothes of a different time. Klaus thought he had seen them in one of his books, and Sunny thought her mother had told her a story about them.
"Hello, Baudelaires," berkata the girl, and quickly bowed. "I am Princess Belle, and this is Beast, but anda could call him Adam."
ungu stepped away from Count Olaf and shook Belle's hand. "How do anda do?" she asked, remembering her manners.
Belle smiled. "I'm doing fine. We actually came for important matters." Her gaze went to Olaf. "Hello, Count Olaf. Pretty morning, isn't it?"
"What do anda want?" he demanded rudely.
Beast crouched in a defensive position in front of Belle, but she berkata something softly to him. She pulled out a paper from her pocket and held it in front of Count Olaf. "Count Olaf, anda are released of your custody of the Baudelaires, and we are here to take them away from you.
"What!" He yelled. He pulled Klaus and Sunny closer to him, but Beast growled so menacingly that he left them alone.
Belle picked Sunny up from the floor. "My group of friends and I have decided to take the Baudelaires in for protection against you."
"Do anda have any legal right to do that?" Olaf asked.
"In fact, we do. We have contacted a Mr. Poe at the bank and he accepted it. He is to be here any menit now."
In coordination to her statement, there was a knock on the door. "There he is right now," berkata Belle.
Beast opened the door. Mr. Poe jumped at the sight of him, but ignored it when he glanced at the Baudelaires. He stepped inside. "Baudelaires, anda are to--"
"She has already told us," Klaus interrupted quickly.
ungu couldn't stop smiling. Finally, they were going to be taken away from the evil count. But her smile faded when she remembered all the times he had followed her and her siblings, and murdered the people who were taking care of them.
Beast looked at her as if he were membaca her mind. "And as for Olaf," his voice was deep and furious, "if anda take such a step toward these three children, I'll see to it that that would be the last step anda ever take."
Klaus wanted to whoop in victory, but Belle's look at Beast was hostile. "In other words," she added, "you will be thrown in jail, where you'll never get out." She gave Sunny to ungu and patted her on the head. "Come along, now, children, we're expected there in an hour."
Olaf was stunned. The children imagined him to be outraged, they could see that Beast's threaten was still clear in his mind.
Belle took ungu and Klaus's hands, and berkata to Mr. Poe, "Thank you, Mr. Poe." and she led them out quickly before Count Olaf could stop them.
They all climbed into an awaiting carriage that was drawn oleh a horse. The Baudelaires waited excitedly.

At last, after all these years, have they found the halaman awal they wanted?
A fair number of disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade yang lalu just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to tampil how cinderella and the prince fell in cinta with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

Well, it's time for another artikel here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another artikel again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the disney villains lebih than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old pertanyaan diposting from a tahun yang lalu that inspired me to write this. The pertanyaan was about which disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope anda guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this artikel ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in populer culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

This was reposted due to an unwanted and frankly annoying troll spamming my last article

Over the years, I've noticed that people really HATE Aurora in Keys To The Kingdom from disney Princess enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams. I've honestly never understood the hate she received, mainly because no one ever freaking EXPLAINS it! I've always asked and they just say "SHE SUCKS," atau "SHE'S A GIRLY STEREOTYPE," atau "SHE HAS A POP VOICE," and all that but they don't EXPLAIN! The reason this version of Aurora is so hated is even less explained than the plot holes in Frozen. First of all, Enchanted...

Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely cinta her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also cinta her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

Ok, so I'm going to daftar my puncak, atas 10 favorit disney Princess dresses. Since there's 10 spots, one Princess may be in the daftar multiple times and another may not be on it at all. Before my number one I will daftar honorable mentions that ALMOST made it onto my list. Time to start the list! Keep in mind that this is my opinion, and anda might not agree. Enjoy the article!

10. Belle's emas dress

Maybe it's a tad overrated, but I think it deserves a lot of the attention it gets. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just look at it! And this is coming from someone who hates that color, and even I have to admit...

All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if anda dislike the disney Princesses (and if anda do I don't know why you're here!) atau hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend membaca this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if anda wish, to make it shorter.

A lot of disney fan and critics alike accuse the Princesses, specifically the older ones, of "sitting around waiting for a prince", "waiting...

I was bored so I decided to write an artikel about which princesses look like which greek goddesses, since I'm greek and I cinta the Greek Mythology. Enjoy!

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine. She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see melati as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). Also, Hera protects women which means she's a feminist, again like Jasmine. Another common, is thei history with their husbands. Zeus...

 Oh, I hate this one
Oh, I hate this one
I know shocking, the so called "Best movie ever" is disliked oleh me. I know most of anda are like "oh, this chick again here to menggerutu, jalang about some lebih stuff." But I don't care I can state my Opinions even if I present them as though they are facts. About Frozen, No, I don't just hate I because it's so populer but the 'hype' I dislike as well, sorry but I dislike lots of things. Is there a problem? Anyway I recently made a dinding post hoping to find someone that could tell me WHY they liked Frozen so I could watch it with an Open mind.
