Since I've been a fan of this club, I never had been keen on Ariel even though she has a magical movie and she's the only mermaid in the lore. However, The live version of the cartoon that came out in September, 2023 changed everything. But also, keep in mind that I changed and my opinions also have. I have to make up a new daftar of my fav princesses because god- ITS ALL MIXED UP AGAIN! Also, I remember arguing about Ariel's appearance with wavesurf in this club and I told him/her that she was pretty ugly, while my opinions are switched. I cinta her huge eyes and bright red hair lebih than ever (even though I still have mixed opinions on her lock)

All social media platforms went crazy with the movie's appearance: Halle Bailey being black. They complained about her different appearance, voice and how she played the role. I don't think that changing the race was necessary, but I don't mind it. Actually, I believe that Halle did a pretty good job in portraying Ariel: dreamy, brave, romantic... And she didn't seem spoiled at all to me like in the cartoon. Also her smile and face fits the name Ariel very much, I can't even explain this.

Another reason why I loved the live was Prince Eric. He was so brave and kind, and the chemistry between Ariel and him was so much better than the original cartoon. Not mentioning that his mimics and face gave up the cinta he had for Ariel. He wasn't just a acak sailor who fell in cinta with a mermaid in the live version. He was a brave young man who was searching for a girl his own kind.
