Hey, y'all! Welcome to my first artikel of this series! I'll be talking about each detail from both a tradionally animated film AND a live-action one. Keep in mind, while I'm happy to give my input on a majority of these films, some I'm going to have to mentally prepare for in the meantime. But let's not go further into that. Let's get on with the show.

Today's artikel will be about both versions of Aladdin.

The characters:

The character development for each character is well done. I'm not going to lie about that quality, but I'd like to point out afew things about the flaws.

Aladdin:

First off, the original aladdin is at a crossroads when Sultan wants to make him a new Sultan, while the live-action aladdin loses sight of who he is, but in a VERY slight way. (The line "Aladdin's gone. Prince Ali is here to stay." should ring a bel, bell if anda don't follow.) He loses sight of himself in that slight manner, but I cinta how he found that part of himself again as the story progressed. He starts to pick up the pieces after being captured, like the original aladdin does. One thing I found precious about the live-action aladdin is how he was struggling to find ways to talk to melati after discovering she was the princess. That was TOO cute NOT to point out!

Jasmine:

Don't even get me started on Jasmine, especially the original one! Even though her jantung is in a good place at times, the live-action one kind of makes her look slightly self centered. That's how big the live-action Jasmine's jantung is! The live-action melati actually KNOWS what to do when it's HER time to rule Agrabah. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk bad about the original Jasmine, but the live-action melati won me over in a record of minutes. detik even. I WILL say THIS, though, I have to appreciate them keeping some of the original Jasmine's qualities and passing them down to the live-action one. While the original melati DOES have some good qualities, she DOES tend to think a bit lebih about other stuff, while the live-action melati thinks about the people of her country and not so much about herself. I liked what they did there.

Genie:

I'm clearly at a loss for words as I type this. No one can slay a role lebih than Robin Williams. Hell, no one is better than Robin Williams! I think I speak for all of us in this community when I say the original Genie holds a special place in our hearts. Now, when I heard the live-action Genie was going to be played oleh Will Smith, I couldn't help but think "He is going to suck as such an iconic character, especially an iconic character who was once played oleh a legend!", but, I was impressed with what I saw. He brought much lebih to the meja than I expected, but still, the live-action Genie doesn't hold a damn candle to the original Genie. I know there are going to be some of anda who liked the live-action Genie, and I respect but no one can replace the legend who voiced the original Genie. RIP Robin Williams.

Jafar:

The live-action Jafar is ALOT DIFFERENT from the original one! The original Jafar was sorta creepy towards melati if anda ask me. The way he was when it came to him trying to marry her was just...Jacked. At least the live-action Jafar had enough audacity to leave her alone! What I like about the live-action Jafar is he was lebih power hungry and lebih focused on gaining the takhta for himself. Upon looks, the live-action Jafar looks like any other regular guy, and the original Jafar looks ominous. I get it, though, because a majority of villains are gonna look that way, especially iconic ones.

The Sultan:

There's no pertanyaan that the original Sultan is lovable, but it's annoying how both Sultans kept melati all sheltered from the outside world. Though, what I cinta about the live-action Sultan is he doesn't want to lose Jasmine. Another thing I cinta about him is he's compassionate. For example, he asks aladdin how he can think him after defeating Jafar, and reassures him saying everyone makes mistakes after he apologizes for all the wrong he's done. I'm not saying the original Sultan isn't compassionate, believe me, I think he's just as compassionate, but with the live-action Sultan, it starts to become lebih evident at the end.

Abu, Carpet, and Iago:

I was surprised when I saw the live-action Iago had very little lines, if any lines at all. The original Iago is just so talkative it's almost obnoxious. I get it, though, because it's supposed to be comic relief. The live-action Iago staying silent was still surprising to say the least.

Both Abu's were about the same for me, but unlike the original Abu, the live-action Abu is alot less greedy. The original Abu was so greedy, he was almost ugly about it. Another thing I like the live-action Abu is he's taught a lesson oleh aladdin about where there's a time and place to steal, and a time and place not to steal. I only have a minor complaint about him. I wish they had him stay an gajah alittle longer, like they did with the original Abu when aladdin was pretending to be a prince. Both Abu's are still good, though.

I have to say, both Carpets are flawless. I can't say anything bad about either of them. Yes, I hated not seeing the live-action Carpet pull Abu's bluff in the cave, like the original Carpet did, but that doesn't matter to me as much. Another thing I liked about the live-action Carpet is he gets ressurected oleh Genie after being cut. I was wowed oleh how similar he and the original Carpet are. They're both legendary in in loads of ways.

The music:

Oh my God, I was blown away with how close the songs were to the original versions! I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of Will Smith doing Friend Like Me, but even he stayed true to the original version, even if he did rap just alittle during the performance. The newest song, Speechless, is BEAUTIFUL! I've never related to such a powerful number in my life! Talk about a confidence booster! I also like how there was a reprise of One Jump Ahead. (Forgive me, but, I've been calling it the "street rat" song.) I thought that was a neat touch. My only complaint is during a couple of the musical numbers, aladdin was pitchy during one of his, and Genie was a bit off key during Arabian Nights, but I liked how they managed to pick themselves back up in the end.

The setting:

Small compliant, but, during the live-action version of A Whole New World, I wish they included the parts where they go all around the world, like they did with the original version, but I get it, because the whole thing would've been expensive. I liked the live-action setting, though. I thought it was similar to the original one.

The story:

Okay, I'm not going to lie, the original Aladdin's story is gold, but the live-action one blew me away! When we get to see the live-action tiger head, I almost spat out my water when he spoke. He sounded JUST LIKE the original one! Another thing I'd like to add is that I liked how they wrote in the live-action Genie falling in cinta with Jasmine's friend. They did good with that twist. Speaking off, the opening to the live-action movie was different, to say the least, but creative. I also liked how they included a wedding between the live-action aladdin and Jasmine. It made me think of the third tradionally animated movie.

Oh, let's not forget about the party scene! As I mentioned earlier in this article, I thought it was adorable how the live-action aladdin was trying to find the confidence to try and talk to melati upon finding out she was the princess.

Plus, we finally know what happened to Jasmine's mother in the live-action adaptation. You're probably not surprised I'm mentioning this, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they explored lebih into that in the future. I'm sure there already fanfics of that theory out there, and I respect people's creativity, but I think that's worth exploring more. Incidentally, knowing the live-action Sultan is extremely protective of melati over this is rather understandable. anda can't help but tampil some sympathy. All in all, I'd like to see where the storyline goes with this in the future. It'd be interesting to see what caused it all.

secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan review:

The original: 10/10

The live-action: 10/10

I have to admit, I had my doubts about the live-action movie, but I was VERY impressed in the end.

That's it for this article. My selanjutnya one with be on both versions of Beauty And The Beast. Keep in mind, I might not be able to include all the characters in that one, but I'll try my best to at least give them a mention.

Thanks for reading! Much love, y'all! <3

Okay, as promised! Here is the comparison both the 1998 animated feature as well as the 2020 live action reboot. Ready?

The Story

So we start of with the Invasion of the Huns in the animated film, as well as reporting the invasion to the Emperor. We see mulan getting ready for the Matchmaker later on.
In the live action version, we see Mulan's childhood and even has a sister who is specially created for the film mainly for character developments. (tied)

The Characters

We get to see Mushu in the animated version, this is due to comic relief for the entire movie. He, Cri-Kee and Little Brother...

What I cinta the most about mulan is she's someone who was trained for battle but instead of depending on weapons to win the war, she uses strategy. It shows that anda don't always have to rely on brute strength atau weapons to win, anda can use your own brain. It really bums me out that people forget that about mulan and just remember her for learning how to fight. -BB2010

I cinta her bravery, perseverance and how she's willing to disguise as a man and go off to war to save her father. -LMH5113

I cinta Mulan's cinta for her family. She loved her family so much that she would risk her own life to save...

and the wisdom of an old tree.

If anda ever want to establish a new international holiday, do it in September. I am serious, there are surprisingly few actual holidays in this bulan - but a lot of really weird ones. I was kind of tempted to mark "Talk like a Pirate Day" in the calendar for that reason alone, but soon I had two hot contenders. One was Heritage hari which would have most likely...

In case anda haven't noticed yet, when I put this calendar together, my goal was to make it as international as possible..meaning, it wasn't supposed to feature the holidays of a specific country, it was supposed to feature holidays which are as widely as possible celebrated, atau at least well-known. I also tried to find holidays which could be in some way be related to a princess. Hence I picked Rapunzel for May.

As anda can see, I...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 atau 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the tahun after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the pertanyaan is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Hi guys, it's been ages since I had written my last artikel that I decided to write another comparison article. This time it is both anastasia and Cinderella, ready?

Anastasia

So, we all know about what happened to Anastasia. Upon watching this for the first time in many years, it was like anastasia became cinderella because she was like the lost princess that her beloved grandma is looking for, hence the ballet oleh Sergei Prokofiev was shown during the scene when they were in Paris, France.
The musik box plays a role in the movie, it is very similar with the glass slipper in Cinderella. Both...

Something I've often berkata in the past is one of the scariest type of villain is one that could exist in real life like Frollo, Bellweather, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel. Gaston is definitely a villain that deserves to be on this list.

Some people will say he's too silly to be a scary villain atau just isn't scary enough until the climax of the movie. But some people who have had to deal with their own Gastons in life will say differently.

First off, it's made pretty clear from the beginning that Gaston is a bully who has most likely never been told "no" and therefore can never take it for...

11. Aurora
Ever since I was a little kid Aurora didn't leave much of an impact. I've always hated the whole "love at first sight" deal so I really don't like that she quickly falls in cinta with literally the first guy she meets and then gets all upset that she can't see him anymore after only meeting him once for a few seconds. Then there's the fact that for the rest of the movie she's asleep so there's nothing else we get to know about her.

She is really pretty, I've always loved her desain and her dresses...

Emeraldine sighed. Of all tables, why did she have to serve that one? This had to be some kind of test.

She shoved her pencil and pad into her celemek and approached them.

"Hi," she berkata awkwardly.

When the guy at the meja finally looked up from his menu, his eyes bulged in surprise.

"Esmeralda! Do anda work here?"

"My name is Emeraldine," the waitress replied through gritted teeth. "And yes."

He would remember that if he'd paid a speck of attention on their tanggal last week.

"Sorry I haven't called," Jason avoided her eyes. "Work has been busy."

"I can see that," Emeraldine mumbled as she glanced at the...
