While this is the detik artikel I wrote about this list, this is the third time I did this countdown, the first one being a few years ago. Compared to last year's results, while some of the same stuff is on the daftar there's different placements and new stuff so let's check out how different this is!

10. The village, the rest of the army, and Shang’s father dead
Original placement: 5

While this one did have some users saying that while it was shocking, the moment we see the little doll Shan-yu had earlier is when they started to feel sad about this scene. This was a very sad scene once anda get over the shock of seeing the village burned to the ground and seeing what was left of the army and finding out that Shang's father died. We don't know a lot about Shang's dad, having only seen him in two scenes but Shang is obviously heartbroken about losing his father and loved and respected him enough to set up his father's ketopong, helm and the sword he gave him as a makeshift shrine to honor him. And when the scene ends with mulan leaving the doll at the shrine to honor the murdered villagers stays with the viewers for a while as we all remember that war is not a game and there are casualties.

9. Rapunzel thinking Eugene left her
Original placement: None (voted out early last year)

It had been berkata oleh multiple users that it's hard to feel sad watching this scene because we all know he didn't actually leave her. But if we could all just forget about that for a moment and think about this; Eugene was the only person besides her "mother" she learned to really trust and cinta and actually believed he loved her back even after all the manipulative thoughts Gothel left her the night before. Rapunzel and Eugene just sang a cinta song together after an amazing hari together and then he suddenly rowed them to shore, took the crown, and left her without a real explaination and just told her he would be right back. Then a few menit of thinking he left her what happens next? Two threatening men who tampil her Eugene leaving her on a perahu and then reveal they know about her magic hair and want to sell her off. After Gothel "saves" her Rapunzel watches Eugene for a moment with tearful eyes before running back into Gothel's arms. Just a reminder, this all happened on her birthday.. One user a while back actually called her a fool for believing that Eugene actually left her but just think about who raised her, how she was just told the night before that he would leave her if she gave him back his satchel, and what happened almost immediately after she returned it to him.

8. Ariel crying after King Triton destroyed her collection
Original placement: 9

Last tahun there were users who kept saying that it was just stuff so why be sad? It's not like it's a beloved collection of something she had a big interest in that she most likely collected for years that was just destroyed in front of her oleh her own father while she begged him to stop. Who cares? No big deal. But this tahun some people were lebih understanding about this situation. This scene was very quick, however so it was hard for some users to feel sad for long and some thought oleh comparison Cinderella's mother's dress getting torn was lebih heartbreaking.

7. “I see nothing!”
Original placement: Same

This was considered lebih sad than heartbreaking and while it was somewhat of a short scene it was at least longer than Ariel crying about her collection being destroyed because then we at least have lebih time to feel sad about this character. mulan has had self doubt lebih than once in this movie which is especially made clear in the beginning of the movie when even her own family didn't have a lot of faith in her before she met with the matchmaker. After everything mulan was justified to see nothing after trying so hard to see someone someone worthwile when she looked in the mirror. It's another relatable scene for some viewers.

6. cinderella crying because her mother’s dress gets ripped up
Original placement: 8

Like Ariel's scene this was a short scene to really feel bad about but here's a few things; this dress belonged to her late mother and was most likely the only thing she had left of her, her mice and bird friends worked on it all hari to help her so she could have at least one night of happiness after living her whole life as a slave to her stepfamily, and when she was diberikan the dress she was so excited and had a huge smile on her face which stayed when she presented the dress to her stepfamily. Then the smile and that brief moment of happiness is as ripped up as her dress after her stepsisters are through. Even though her fairy godmother waved her wand and everything ended up okay, cinderella was ready to give up hope and dreaming.

5. Ariel crying at the pier
Original placement: 3

There were mixed feelings on this one. One on hand, the rest of the scenes on this daftar involve death while on the other hand, the characters who die are magically better in some way. And on another one hand, to some people, the ones who die are no longer in pain while on another the other hand, Ariel was watching the man she loved sail away with another woman and thought she was going to spend the rest of her life as a part of Ursula's "garden". Again, mixed feelings. This scene had lebih weight than the earlier scene where she lost her collection because at this point Ariel believed that she truly lost everything. She could never see her family atau friends again, she lost the cinta of her life, she was doomed to be in the sea witch's cave forever.

4. Moana saying goodbye to Gramma Tala
Original placement: None (was not part of last year's countdown)

While Tala was the only one on this daftar who actually died, she came back as a manta ray, something she berkata she wanted. However, it was very sad watching Moana say goodbye to her grandmother especially since we see that they had a close relationship almost parallel to Pocahontas' relationship with Grandmother Willow. And when Moana is on the water and sees the lights go out before she sees her grandmother swim to her as a manta sinar, ray for a detik we can see how heartbroken she was that Tala was gone.

3. The dwarves crying because of Snow White’s death
Original placement: 4 (fun fact, first time I did this this was in 3rd place)

Technically she's asleep and not dead but the dwarfs didn't know that. They actually thought that this sweet little girl they loved was really dead. Even Grumpy, who kept insisting that she was trouble and that she didn't like her, was sobbing over losing her. Personally, the fact that she was "dead" for a whole tahun while the last two were dead for only a menit feels a bit lebih sad.

2. Eugene’s death
Original placement: 1 (again, first time I did this this was 2nd too)

Again, there were mixed feelings on this one. Some viewers were Eugene fan so they couldn't feel sad while some thought about how Rapunzel believed she lost everything, especially after realizing how awful Gothel was and after trying to use what was left of her hair to heal him as she broke down in tears. Another reason some people have a hard time feeling sad is because it's literally the first line in the movie so we all know it's going to happen.

1. Beast’s death
Original placement: 2 (once again, first time it was in first place)

Some fan didn't think Belle and Beast had as much of a connection as Rapunzel/Eugene and Moana/Gramma Tala but the sad reactions Belle and the servants had on their faces when the Beast died brought a tear to a lot of viewers' faces. Belle's reaction, like Rapunzel's and Moana's were very realistic, covering her mouth in shock as she shook her head and begged him not to leave her. Paige O'Hara even sobbed during the membaca of this scene because she was so commited.
