 The Current Princesses
The Current Princesses
With 11 official disney Princess and two lebih to gabung in the upcoming year, I've decided to create a countdown of my puncak, atas 11 favorit disney Princesses. While Anna and Elsa will gabung in 2014, I'm just going to focus on the ones we currently have - besides, I've only seen Frozen once. So without further ado, let's begin!

ApplesauceDoctr's favorit disney Princesses

11. Aurora
While Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorit film from childhood, Aurora herself never truly stood out to me. In her short runtime she walks around the forest and sings - and even though she has a beautiful voice, there's not much else for me to say about her. Even when she's on screen I get rather bored. It's unfortunate for the lovely Aurora that she isn't diberikan much time in her own movie, and that really brings her down this list.

10. Pocahontas
Pocahontas just isn't my favorit movie nor do I find her to be interesting. She's fun in the first half atau so of the movie when she's running around, kayaking and bernyanyi about the warna of the wind. I admire her bravery in the climax - and anda all know what I'm talking about when she's sacrificing her life for the one she loves. She's determined to see peace between her people and the explorers, even when the odds are against her. However, besides these elements (they're great elements, don't get me wrong), not much else is there to Pocahontas. She loses her fun in the detik half atau so of the movie and even before that she wasn't too interesting. At least not for my taste.

9. Merida
I was really looking meneruskan, ke depan to brave and I liked it! At least I did the first time I watched it. Over the tahun it's not so much my favorit anymore. Merida proves to be a free spirit, wanting to do things her way instead of the ways she's expected to. That's pretty admirable - she was brave (hehe puns) in standing up for herself and going to all the trouble of trying to control her destiny. And did I mention the hair? Good gracious it's amazing!
And sadly, that's where my positive remarks end. I was a little upset that Merida wasn't quite as action-packed and awesome as I thought she would be, but I guess that's my fault. I wasn't too big a fan of the idea of her inadvertantly transforming her mom into - well, anda know. I realize that Merida didn't know what she had done and oleh the end she learns her lesson and the value of family, but something about that whole situation just rubbed me the wrong way.

8. Snow White
It seems that not too many of us favor Snow White, and I guess I can understand why - she's a bit of the archetypal princess; she waits for her prince to rescue her, she sings in a voice that sounds a tad too old for modern liking, and she isn't too strong. However I'm willing to look past those and see Snow White for what she is - a young and caring princess. She willingly runs away from halaman awal because she's quite aware that the queen is after her. Talk about bravery! And notice how scared she was of the forest. She didn't run back for fear of the forest; she kept on going. And when she finds shelter, she does her best to pay off oleh cleaning and cooking. That may not sound like much, but the fact that Snow White would go to all that work and still be happy and kind (much like Cinderella) is something I find positive. Then why is Snow so low on the list? I simply find other princesses to be lebih memorable.

7. Jasmine
I like Jasmine. She was one of our first power-princesses, if anda will. She wasn't pleased with the life she had and she was bound to find a new one and be happy. I admire her courage into going meneruskan, ke depan with that plan because she was entering a whole new world (hehe, lebih puns!) which she wasn't familiar with. Thankfully it all worked out for the best.
With Jasmine, there aren't too many negative things to say. I realize that this isn't her movie, and even so, she is still a likeable and fun character. Maybe a little lebih character development would have been nice, but with what we're given, melati is one of those princesses I like.

6. Belle
Ah, Belle. What's not to like about Belle? She's kind, forgiving, able to see the good in others, and she even took her father's place and accepted the fact that she'd be imprisoned for the rest of her life. (Thankfully that's not what ended up happening!) I still think that these qualities make Belle a memorable and likeable princess. I wish there was lebih to say about Belle, but that's alright - what's been berkata is good enough. ;D

5. Mulan
Is she a princess? No. Is she a disney Princess? Yes!
I think there's something about each princess that makes her stand out, but even moreso with Mulan. She is the one who takes her dad's place in the army to not only keep him safe, but to be her true self and to find out what that true self is. Once again, I admire her bravery. I can't really say I relate to Mulan, but if she's awesome that's good enough for me.
While Merida is another one who has an outdoorsy skill (archery), I still prefer Mulan, for her clever thinking and skill when it comes to defeating the Huns in war.

4. Ariel
I can't imagine disliking Ariel. She's so...fun! :D Out of all of the princesses Ariel is definitely one of the most interesting. She is very curious about the world above and doesn't let anything prevent her from learning lebih about it. anda could argue that she wasn't satisfied with her life - because come on she did have a good life! Trading your mermaid tail for legs? What are you, crazy? I could wonder about that too, but Ariel knows what she wants and, like I said, she won't let anything get in the way from her goals, her dreams, her wishes. Her determination, fun personality, and whimsical-ness (hurray for made up words!) make Ariel a standout from the others.

3. Cinderella
Is it strange that Aurora and Snow White are at the bottom of the list, but Cinderella's in the puncak, atas 3? I think there's a certain gracefulness (is that even a word?) about cinderella that I like in comparison to the other two. Cinderella, like Snow White, puts up with so much work almost all her life and yet she's still kind, caring, and happy. Maybe not super happy, but still, happy. I also cinta her voice - it's so calm and lovely. I don't think any other disney Princess is lebih deserving of her happily ever after than Cinderella. I wish I could explain lebih about why I like her so much, but I guess she's just too great for words. ;D

2. Rapunzel
Much like Ariel, I can't imagine anyone disliking Rapunzel. Rapunzel is a free spirit who wants to know lebih about the world, which makes sense since she was locked away from it for so long. Speaking of long, her hair is awesome.
Rapunzel is so fun and adventurous, as well as determined. Nothing is going to stop her from reaching her dream, and throughout the movie she proves to be nothing but likeable, interesting, and understanding of others. Rapunzel - what's not to like?

1. Tiana
And my favorit of all is Princess Tiana! I really find her movie to be underrated, but I'm glad that I found fanpop because it seems like she gets the attention she deserves. :D Tiana is one of if not the most hardworking princess(es), for she's been looking meneruskan, ke depan to having her own restaurant for almost all of her life and has been working so much in order to make that dream come true. I think that's really inspiring. Not only that, but I like seeing her progress throughout the movie - at first she's just hardworking and maybe "a stick in the mud", but she learns to have a little fun and to bring lebih cinta into her life. I secara keseluruhan, keseluruhan just cinta Tiana, and I'm glad to see that her and her movie are receiving lebih attention as the years go on.

And that's the end of the article! Thank anda so much for membaca my very first article, and I hope to see anda again in upcoming articles. I'll plan on updating this countdown selanjutnya tahun when Anna and Elsa officially enter the lineup. Until then, see anda later!

I Know Why the Princess Sings
I Know Why the Princess Sings
Just as cinderella graciously bids good morning with such romantic fervor, Snow White sends well wishes that are not unlike the dreams of cinta and hope Aurora has sung of before. While Belle muses of the great wide beyond her poor provincial place and melati bemoans her gilded palace cage, the restless twain are armed with the familiar faith Tiana holds to as she prays her labors and pains will beruang buah-buahan someday. Facing profound confliction, mulan ponders upon her contrasting reflection just as Pocahontas meditates on which path is true to imitate. Sure as light, Elena's valor takes flight...

I spent the night wandering the streets, using the moon as my guide. I’d follow it anywhere partly because I left without a real plan. Any regret atau fear I had, I overcame it with my excitement and curiosity for this world beyond the palace walls. I never realized there were so many merchants around.
“A pretty kalung for a pretty lady!”
I backed away and almost bumped into a man with a sword in his mouth. We had entertainers come to the palace who would menelan their sword. I always looked away. I couldn’t imagine the entertainment...

Elsa, where are you? In Saudi Arabia?
Elsa, where are you? In Saudi Arabia?
Alright! After gallivanting across Europe, let's travel to the Middle East to meet with our Elsa there. As she enjoys doing Belly Dancing and seeing Jerusalem!

Persian (Voice Actress: Soodeh Fekri)

This newly dub is very young and youthful, this is the one of the rarest thing in the whole Middle Eastern countries and I'm glad they found a singer who could voice actress. However, it's the chorus that's needs lebih improvement, especially the first chorus. (ratings:7/10)

Arabic (Voice Actress: Nesma Mahgoub)

The language is very vast and mysterious, it's really fits Elsa a lot, especially her voice...

These are some Polyvore outfits I made based on the disney princesses' styles. I tried to stay true to the warna of their outfits and the styles they would wear in the modern age.

I made this set based on Snow White's dress colors, and her sweet personality goes well with the cardigan, shirt, and apel, apple earrings. Whoever wears this outfit can "look the part" with the red lipstick.

This set is based off of Cinderella's elegant style. She would keep it simple, yet very pretty. White skinny jeans seem like her thing. The hope kalung represents the way she always stays optimistic.

Merida really needed an eye-opener. If she let her sensitivity get in the way of everything else again, she could've potentially kissed her friendships with Pocahontas and mulan goodbye. Incidentally, Shang would probably still despise her. Truth be told, her mother, Elanor, was right. She WAS lebih sensitive than she realized. The young archer was glad she was being taught how to corner her wild emotion. She wrote down everything Pocahontas told her.

"Every time we realize what's bothering us after cornering it, we come up with positive solutions." Pocahontas taught. Merida wrote everything...
