I'm so excited to finally get to write this article! I thought this was an incredibly interesting countdown, and I want to give a huge "Thank you!" to everyone who participated. This was my first countdown and it was so much fun! I have a bunch of ideas for other ones I can conduct in the future. So anyway, I'm gonna stop blabbing now and get to what you're all actually here for: the results! Enjoy...
10. The Princess and the Frog
It was no surprise that this movie came in dead last. It was practically a unanimous vote! Every single person who komentar voted that this should be the first to leave. Not only did disney twist the fairytale beyond recognition, but the only thing they had in common was a prince getting turned into a frog. "No doubt about it. The main characters are a different race, with a different setting, time period, motives, plot, etc. The daftar would be way too long to write. The only thing that is similar in both is that the girl kisses a frog, and that the frog is a prince." ~Jayden-G

9. Pocahontas
This was another unsurprising elimination. Nearly everyone who komentar agreed that it should be the selanjutnya to leave. They changed ages, names, motives, and dropped an entire romance in where there wasn't one. disney seriously needs to take a few history lessons! 8. Tangled
Though I personally disagreed that this should be the selanjutnya to get eliminated, the majority of the commenters argued that there were very few similarities between tangled and its sumber material. The whole "wanting to see the lanterns" dream was an entirely new concept, and instead of a prince, Rapunzel got a thief. For reference, anda can find a summary of the original tale here: link

When I began this countdown I was positive mulan would be one of the last film to leave. I guess others didn't agree. Sleeping Beauty actually had the most vote at 46%, but mulan had lebih comments, and since I was basing this poling off of the komentar mulan was the one to go. I had to make a tiebreaker round for this one. Based on the poling Beauty and the Beast just barely beat Sleeping Beauty, but the komentar were tied, so I decided to be doubly sure and make a tiebreaker poll. The poling was very close again, but the komentar clearly favored Beauty and the Beast. After all, they left a lot of stuff out (siblings and etc.) and put a lot of new stuff in (talking objects and etc.). For reference, anda can find a summary of the original tale here: link

When I first saw this redesign I was thinking "Is this Cinderella?", I mean look at her, how many similarities can anda find between the way she looked in the movie to this design? Only a few I guess, but that doesn't stop me from loving this redesign, the hairstyle is a HUGE improvement from the awful bun she had before, the dress is very pretty, but like most other people I think she looks almost too much like Barbie, but not to an extent...

When I first saw this redesign I was thinking "Is this Cinderella?", I mean look at her, how many similarities can anda find between the way she looked in the movie to this design? Which will win?
I'll be starting a hair style competition soon in the polls! It will be similar to the outfit one we currently have going on. I want to make sure I get all of them for all the original DP film (no sequels). Different hair styles means anytime their hair looks different. For example, if Ariel has a bunga in her hair that is considered a hair style. So I need help finding them! Leave pictures of ones anda find so I can make sure I get them all. atau a daftar of maybe all your favorit princess' hair styles. Everyone is welcome to help. I appreciate it.

When I was faced with the decision of what to play during my wedding, it was easy- disney cinta songs. I wanted to incorporate disney into my wedding (which is in December), but not have it be in-your-face atau cheesy, so that was my decision. (I'm also having a glass slipper as a cake topper.) :) So while planning my list, I realized that I have very specific favorit when it comes to DP cinta songs, so I thought I'd share them with you.
