Ariel
Ariel has a slim, kind of curvy figure with long, thick red hair hat falls down to her waist. She is also a bit short, and has big blue eyes. In th beginning of her film, she goes above the sea to collect lebih human artifacts, unknowingly missing her father's show, which she was the bintang of. She finally remembers, but it is too late. Triton yells at her for missing the tampil and they argue about the human world, and him treating her like a child. She then swims off with menggelepar and sees fireworks and a boat, so they swim up and she meets Eric, immediately taken aback, calling him handsome and falls "in love" with him, the storm destroys the perahu they were on, and Eric falls overboard, so she saves him. She puts him in he pantai and sings a piece of "Part of Your World" as Grimsby and Max approaches, she goes underwater, and Eric who was slowly fagainit consciousness is mesmerized oleh her voice, and determined to find the girl. After a brilliant song oleh Ursula, Ariel is convinced that she should run into a human, so she can win over Eric in 3 days. Eric finds her in the beach, unknowingly that it is the girl that saved him because of her lack of voice, takes her to his castle. After she dresses up, he cannot take his eyes off her, and all of them laugh at the fact that Ariel was using a fork as a comb. The selanjutnya hari they go on a tour where they dance, and go on a horse ride, which she found so interesting that she looked under the horse and whipped the horse to go faster. Later they are on a perahu and Eric is trying to find out her name. Sebastian tells him her name and performs "Kiss the Girl" where they almost kiss, but tip in the water thanks to Ursula's eels. That night, they both are on their perspective balconies and glance at each other like like anda do when anda are crushing in someone, but then after Ariel heads back to her room, Eric is hypnotized oleh Ursula Ito thinking that she saved him and that he should marry her. The selanjutnya morning, Ariel is jantung broken after she finds of that the hypnotized Eric is marrying the disguised Ursula. With the help of her friends, she swims to the boat, and gets her voice back. Her and Eric are about to ciuman until she turns back into a mermaid since she was too late, and Ursula takes her back to the ocean. They bump into Triton and Ariel quickly apologizes to him, since all i his trouble happened, but Triton makes a proposition for him to take her place, which Ursula accepts. oleh climax happens, Ursula is killed, and Ariel watches Eric laying on the sand, and Triton seeing how sad she was, turned her into a human where they ciuman and get married. They share a fellow goodbye.
melati
melati has a skinny but curvy figure, with big brown eyes and long, thick hair. She is I think the detik shortest princess. In the beginning of her film, she just rejected a prince and Rajah bit off a part of his pants. The man runs off frustrated, telling the Sultan good kick marrying her off. The Sultan, frustrated, goes to melati and asks her why is she being so difficult, and we tells him calmly that she wants to marry for love, not to be arranged. He says that according to law, she has to be married in 3 days, and that he only wants her to be taken care if after he passes. melati does not budge and says that she has never made a decision on her own, never left the palace, and never had an actual friend, so she is sticking with her decision. The Sultan walks off calling her difficult, and saying her mother was never that picky. In the evening, she dresses up as a commoner and tells Rajah that she cannot let people make decisions for her anymore and that she will miss him. The selanjutnya day, she enters the marketplace and immediately captures Aladidn's attention. She awkwardly walks through the marketplace, and gives a little kid an apel, apple without paying for it. The merchant yells at her, and she says that she will go back to the palace to get money, since she forgot. As the merchant is abou to amputate her hand, aladdin comes to her rescue and tells the man that she is his sister and that she is mentally ill, and she quickly catches on to his scheme. Later, she awkwardly thanks him and he takes her back to his place. She falls into his arms, and they both blush awkwardly, and he compliments her oleh saying she stands out. They talk about how they feel trapped in their current situations, and both want the other's lives. They then flirt and unknowingly moves closer to another, which they almost kissed until they get cockbloced oleh the security guards, thinking they are after thenselves. They run away from them, Alan's she reveals herself to release Aladdin, which they decline because it came from the orders from Jafar. When she returns, she angrily confronts Jafar about capturing aladdin for no reason, and he originlky lied saying that he kidnapped the princess, and then lies about his case already taking place (beheading). She runs off crying, as her life hits rock bottom, as she is forced to marry someone, just when she was starting to fall in cinta with someone, and is trapped into her home. Her father comes to comfort her, and she tells him about what Jafar did. The Sultan forces them to apologize to each other, and she says at least when she is forced to marry, at least she will have the power to get rid of him. aladdin disguised as a prince returns to town to win her over, and as she goes to her balcony to witness the parade, she rolls her eyes, scoffs, and walks off. After overhearing their conversation about her, she walks in yelling at them saying "I am NOT a prize to be won" and goes back into her room. aladdin then goes to her balcony, and she tells him that she does not want to see him and to go jump off a balcony, but when she sees him without his turban, she recognizes him and asks if she knew him from the marketplace, and she sulks when he says no. She quickly knew it was the boy from the marketplace because the prince had the exact same mannerisms as the boy from the marketplace, and then went with him to do "A Whole New World". She tricks him into revealing himself, and confronts him into why he lied to her. She only believed in his lies because she did disguise as a commoner to escape palace life. He returns her to the balcony, and they share a kiss. The hari after, she is cinta struck and tells her father that she has chosen a suitor, but Jafar hypnotized him to force melati into marrying him, but the Sultan breaks out of it when he saw aladdin and melati together, but Jafar tried to hypnotized him again, but aladdin broke his staff, and Jafar flees. melati pushes him to the crowd to announce their betrothal. When Jafar returns, he performs "Prince Ali reprise", and traps melati and her father. She is turned into his slave, and refuses to marry him oleh throwing wine in his face. aladdin comes, and she distracts Jafar oleh using her sex appeal (a first for princesses) and tells him about what she "likes" and as a last resort, she kisses him. The climax takes place, and the couple realize that they cannot be together, and he apologizes for lying to her, which she says that she understand why he did it. Her father realizes that he could have changed the law, and that aladdin proved that he cares for his daughter and a good person, he changes the law, and they ride off in a magic carpet.
Ariel and melati are both emotional teenagers who want to be heard, but the difference is that I think melati has a bit lebih respect and care for her father than Ariel does for her father. Ariel went to Ursula out of spite and anger, while melati clearly had time to think and process, and made her decision at a calm state. Even the way they deal with their friends are a bit different. Ariel did not listen to atau care to listen to anyone else's feelings, and at least melati berkata goodbye to Rajah and saying that she will miss him. Both are emotional wrecks though, which is alright. To me, Ariel is a lot lebih irritating than Jasmine, but they are very similar.
