People keep saying that if Damon and Elena become a couple; Stefan and Damon's relationship as brothers will always be broken. My alternative ending to The Vampire Diaries below, shows otherwise.

Damon returns to Stefan after talking to Elena.

Stefan: She chose you.. Right?

Damon: Yes, I'm sorry brother.

Stefan: Don't be. anda deserve her lebih than I do.

Damon: No, I don't. I've done so many things, just to hurt her.

Stefan: You're wrong, Damon. She's the girl you've always loved.
If there's someone she needs and should be with, it's you.

Damon: I'm happy she chose me but it doesn't feel right.

Stefan: Why do anda think she always forgave you? And took your side all the time?
It's because she loves you. Even when she was with me, she loved you.
Elena has always loved you, Damon. Even when she berkata that she didn't. Trust me.

Damon: But... anda cinta her, too. I don't want to steal her from you.
*whisphering* I don't deserve her.

Stefan: No, Damon, I loved her. But not as much as I thought I did. I know my destiny,
I'm supposed to be with Caroline. For she is to me, what Elena is to you.

Damon: Are anda sure it's ok?

Stefan: Yes. It's ok, I promise.

Damon: Thank you, Stefan.

Stefan: You're welcome.
